I have come across this, Its a terrible way of tought in my oppinion, beleiving such would leave me in deep sorrow. I would like to have oppinions about this....

"Behold, I teach you the overman. The overman is the meaning of the earth. Let your will say: the over-man shall be the meaning of the earth! I beseech you, my brothers, remain faithful to the earth, and do not believe those who speak to you of otherworldly hopes! Poison-mixers are they, whether they know it or not. Despisers of life are they, decaying and poisoned them-selves, of whom the earth is weary: so let them go." Nietzsche

Nietzsche is German; I supose that is why the english in the translation sounds so strange. Overman is a wooden translation of Uberman where we got the idea of superman. Of cource the original Natzi idea is what is here depicted. I thought it was some form of garbled green activist statement till I saw "Nietzsche" at the end. I believe you are right about the terrible way of thinking...we know what the uberman mentality did for the Jews, Christian evangelicals, and other "usless eaters" that could not progressivly suport the national socialist regime in the 30's and 40's.

frightning quote. DGB

Yes saved one I agree with you this quote of Nietzsche is terrible. I also agree with xDICEx it does sound like a garbled green activist statement and it does make one wonder how much of a influence Nietzsche had on Hitler and the Nazis.

Colossians 3:1-4
1) If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2) Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
3) For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4) When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with HIm in glory.
