Revelation 21:

1
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

what does this mean?

Ancient biblical times, sea represent violence. Sea’s were terrible . Storms the coast lands were not good. Ancient understood that meaning. So no sea’s another form of comfort.

In the Expanded Bible (EXB) the definition for "sea" is: The sea represents chaos and evil, so its absence indicates peace and security.

thank you your reply ............commentaries are ideas, opinions that sound good but what does the scripture say?

The answer is straight forward found in the Bible. it is one of God's Mysteries

29 The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us

If you place every human being who has lived on this earth since Adam standing shoulder to shoulder and we were standing on a mountain; They would look a great ocean.
It is impossible to know how many people have passed through this earth.

The Lord said"
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

In order to find it you need to be looking for it.

this is not the answer but a clue
