'IN HIS LARGENESS NOTHING GETS LOST...' PSALM 36:5
Have you ever stopped to think about how massive God actually is? Well today we're going to do just that. Listen: '"I am...the [beginning] and the [ending]"' (Revelation 1:8 NIV) that's one of the ways in which God describes himself! He's the one who created the whole universe, flung the stars into space, spoke and created...well, everything! He's so massive that no human brain will never really be able to 'get it'. So here's something that should blow your mind for the rest of today - or maybe the rest of your life; even though He is the awesome, massive, all powerful, all knowing God, His strongest desire is to have a relationship with YOU!!! Check this out: 'God's love is meteoric, His loyalty astronomic, His purpose titanic (not the ship, 'titanic' means BIG), His verdicts oceanic. Yet in His largeness nothing gets lost...' (Psalm 36:5 TM).
God may be the creator of the mountains and the stars and the big blue sky, but he is also the one who thought up butterflies, the snowflake and chocolate, yes He invented the cocoa bean! Why should that matter? Well doesn't that show you a glimpse of God's heart? His attention to the details not only in how He creates but in the way He relates to His children. '...in His largeness nothing gets lost...' You have the attention of the creator of the universe and everything in it and He loves you enough to want to talk to you, help you, heal you and be your best friend. Don't you think that's truly mind-blowing stuff!
