If they can take off their earthly Body and get rid of their earthly brain and remove their eyes
(Romans 7).

All you can do is strip yourself bare, mentally, spiritually and for some of us disrobe as well. At least your trying to be righteous and holy, but the truth is without the Holy Spirit to guide you , you wont be able to get there. There are very few Jobs in the world now.

Well most of this world has always been like that, as a norm.
USA:

True beneficial work only arrived in the late 19th century, Steel,Iron, railroad, oil, buildings, roads, the 20th century labor unions a growth from slave and child labor. assembly lines for Automobiles, then parts, electricity powered plants, Jet age has just arrived not to long ago, computer advancement a few decades ago. And Robotics, all was to create jobs that would replace the common man power and better preformanace. No medical Insurance, No vacation time off, no sick leave or in need of secretaries, by the replacement of private cubicles with a desktop. No more "pension plans" but a psychological thought up plan of a thing called A"401" a piece of "The Pie"! for you are now a part of Honorary system of the "Elite" that grows for ever! You no longer buy Cars, you Rent them! LOL!
and trade them in next year for a new one. Not even thinking, You were buying a New car every 2 years. In 24 mouths it was paid for in full. Long time payments was 42 or 48 mos. Normal car payments were 36 Mos. own in full. a tune up cost about "($12.00). you had a v4, v6, v8.

This has been a short walk, Now things, might be going back to normal. and what is normal? "Horse and buggy" Peanut Butter and JAM", Sardines and Saltines" Bologna and Salami" "potted Meat"! They did not complain back then. and a Pitcher of KOOL-AID!

These events are not really old.
