Many times in the Bible... Jesus speaks of the "unwilling".

In Matt 22:1-14; Jesus tells a parable about a wedding feast. It says a lot of people were invited,
but they were "unwilling" to come. ( Matt 22:3; )
The king in the parable sends out the servants again to tell the people the feast is ready.
But they were still unwilling to come, in fact they killed his servants who delivered the message
( Matt 22:5-6; )

In Matt 22:37; Jesus says he wanted to gather the children of Jerusalem under His wings,
but then He says "but you were unwilling".

In John 5:40; Jesus tells the Jews... "you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life".
The invitation is there... Jesus' arms are open... but they are unwilling.

In Acts 7:39; Paul mentions Moses, and some of those who were on the way to the promised land with him.
However getting to the promised land required obedience. Paul says "Our fathers were unwilling....
to be obedient to him, ... and in their hearts turned back to Egypt.

Many of us are unwilling to be obedient to reach the promised land (heaven) and in our hearts we have
turned back to where we came from.

Later in the same chapter (Acts 7:51; ) Paul mentions those who are stiff necked... always resisting the
Holy Spirit... he goes on to say "you are doing just as your fathers did. You are unwilling to receive Him.

In Rev 3:20; Jesus says... "I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I
will come in and dine with him....
Notice here... it isn't Jesus that opens the door here... He is waiting for the door to be opened to Him.

... but some are unwilling...
