Genesis 3:15**And I will put enmity Between you and the woman And between your seed and her seed; He will bruise you on the head, But you will bruise him on the heel.
Galatians 4:4**But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under law
As the seed of the woman (born of a human virgin), Christ was bruised by the serpent Satan on the cross, while at the same time He bruised (crushed) Satan on the head. A hymn by Charles Wesley says "Rise the woman's conquering seed, Bruise in us the serpent's head".

Gen 12:7 And Jehovah appeared to Abram and said, To your seed I will give this land. And there he built an altar to Jehovah who had appeared to him.
Gal 3:16**But to Abraham were the promises spoken and to his seed. He does not say, "And to the seeds,'' as concerning many, but as concerning one: "And to your seed,'' who is Christ.
As the seed of Abraham, Christ inherits the blessings of God for us, typified by the riches of the Good Land. Gal 3:14 shows that this promise was fulfilled by the coming of the Holy Spirit of Christ.

1 Chronicles 17:11**When your days are fulfilled that you must go to be with your fathers, I will raise up your seed after you, which will be from your sons, and I will establish his kingdom.
17:12**It is he who will build a house for Me, and I will establish his throne forever.
17:13**I will be his Father, and he will be My son; and My lovingkindness I will not take from him, as I took it away from him who was before you.
17:14**And I will set him in My house and My kingdom forever, and his throne will be established forever.
2 Tim 2:8**Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, of the seed of David, according to my gospel,
This marvelous passage in 1 Chron shows us a promise of Christ as the seed of David, the greater Solomon.
"Solomon is a type of Christ as the son of David, the One who inherits the throne and kingdom of David (2 Sam. 7:12-13; Luke 1:32-33). Solomon, as a type of Christ, did mainly two things: he built the temple of God in the kingdom (1 Kings 6:2) and spoke the word of wisdom (1 Kings 10:23-24; Matt. 12:42). Christ, in fulfilling this type, is now building the real temple of God, the church, in the kingdom of God and has spoken the word of wisdom."
