The Taste

I saw a fruit that looked so good
I took a bite and the taste was amazing,
with each bite I was drawn in to take another
as the juices ran down my chin
the smell was ever so sweet
I craved more of it
I couldn't get enough
Others around me saw my pleasure in this fruit
As with each bite I took
I savored the taste and smell
allowing it to linger for a bit in my mouth
The expression on my face
showed pure delight
Soon those around me craved what I was tasting
They began to taste this fruit as well
It was only after they took their first bite
were they able to understand the pleasure it gave me
and why I so enjoyed eating it
They saw
They bit
They enjoyed
Because now they to had experienced the taste and sweet aroma themselves first hand.
We so should be living in such a way that the word of God is like this fruit. That we reflect such pleasure as like eating a peach. The aroma draws us in and the juices flowing down from us and the expression on our face draws others to want a taste for themselves.
The thing is if one does not taste and see for themselves, they can only take our word for it. They must experience it first hand to truly be able to understand why it taste so good.
