Luke 17:1-4 King James Version (KJV)

Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.

You know, as I was sitting here listening to one of God's living prophets today, Celestial, and to some teaching of the Gospel through David Wilkerson, it dawned on me that while I was living in active sin, particularly fornication, I was a stumbling block to others' walk with Christ. I sit here acknowledging that what I did while I was living in sin could have caused those with whom I sinned to stumble, and indeed I did; stumbling together.. in sin. Yet, there is something that worries me; I cannot go back to say 'no,' and make the right decision for those days wherein I stumbled and became a stumbling block to them. I can not go back to them and make it up to them. I cannot go to Christ and make it up to Him. Today, I place it in His hands, with the hope that the stumbling block which I was at that time will not be a hindrance to their walk with Christ, and I say this grievously, I pray that they have or will have a walk with Christ. If they have not come to faith in Jesus, I pray that Jesus appear to them, to keep them and deliver them, and to save them. God, today I stretch out my hands to ask You for Your mercy, and to ask You for Your deliverance in their lives in Jesus Name. Amen.

I wish that I had never sinned against the Lord.

Brothers and sisters,

if you are in any relationship outside of marriage, and there is fornication, I strongly admonish you to give it up and to seek God together. This is terrible sin and we as followers and lovers of Jesus need to be aware that our sin is a stumbling block to everyone else; we are not to be enablers of sin in any form. No sympathy for sin. Sin destroys the soul, the mind, and the body, and deadens the Spirit which God has given us. Sin hardens our hearts and deafens our ears and blinds our eyes to the truth which is found in Jesus Christ alone; our sins cause others to stumble and give power to what is carnal, sensual, and fleshly, and before we knew Jesus, and started walking with Him, we were without strength; how much more are they without strength, if we know Christ and are in active sin, and they do not know Christ?

Regards,

God bless you all in Jesus Name. Amen.
