MURDER ANGER
THEFT SLANDER
ADULTERY MALICE
COVERSION DECEIT
In the scriptures,all sins have the same effect...
matthw5:21-24.
Every one who is angry with his brother shall be liable to judgement;whoever insults his brother shall be liable to the council, and whoever says 'you fool' shall be liable to the hell of fire.

In this day and age murder would probably be looked upon as the worst sin. However, all sin is equal in the eyes of God.
There is no big sin and there is no little sin, all sin is of the same degree.

1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. (KJV)

Here it does not say he that committeth little sin or he that committeth big sin. It implying that all sin is the is same and it is evil.


We all sin because we are human and we cannot keep from it because we are still of the flesh.

However, God wants us to work for perfection and to do the best we can in the good of his name.

I find insulting someone is so wrong. I get that a lot, just because I am short and have a skin condition called rosacea. When people tell me I am either too short or a loser because I am short, I tell people I am made in the image of the Creator and His blueprint which makes me good in His image. So if I am good enough for Him I am good enough for me.

But it does make me angry though. Well it hurts actually, it does.
I am ok though, i get out my bible and read how I am in favour with God from Luke 1:30 and that gives me such comfort.

I find it interesting that anger is listed as a sin. Anger is not always a sin, however it can be. I think God gets angry of occasion. (Heb 3:10,17) (some versions say "grieved", some versions say "angry") I think Jesus was angry at the money changers in the temple (Matt 21:12). Jesus called the pharisees a brood of vipers (Matt 12:34) We are even told it's ok to be angry for a little while. (Eph 4:26) but not to hold a grudge.
In Matt 5:21-24, I believe there is a difference between being angry at someone, and being angry at someone just because you don't like them or they don't agree with you. (i.e. you fool, you good-for-nothing). Being angry at your children for disobedience really isn't a sin, (Prov 13:24, 23:13)
