The Real Survivor
Reality of the show survivor is more real that meets the eye
But instead of cast a ways on an island we’re cast a ways on
Earth between heaven and the lake of fire
The thing is its the complete opposite competing for one
We’re competing for all eternity for one body of believers
Just doesn’t cut it going alone, need to help many as we can
Just think of the first competition we’re on a raft in the rapids
Headed for a water fall that leads to the lake of fire with no hope
Till one stands up and commands the waters to calm
Sure was a close call but still wasn't enough yes out of the rapids
But we’re still headed for the lake of fire on the trails of no returns
And now lions bringing up the rear and us facing a ravine
The thing is heaven is on the other side of the ravine but no bridge
The lions or closing in fast is the only hope to jump and hope to survive
Oh can’t think what to do, running out of time and hope
Can’t you feel the hot breath of the lions down your neck sending chills
They know they got us where they want us now its just play time for fun
Those that decided to join the pride started chanting crucify Him
Using the one that saved us from the rapids we laid across the ravine
Most didn't even know His name but we sacrificed him without the asking
Strangest thing is acted like He wanted to be the one
The only words He said was Father why do you forsake me and Father
Please forgive them they know not what they do, and how true He was
After all here we’re giving into our fears and our sin to save ourselves
Not sure what to do even though just standing there doing nothing
But still didn’t even try and stop them or stand up to the lions of evil
Now their trying to walk across thinking their so bright
Just when the lions were licking there chops and the pride ready
They started shaking and eyes blinking twice as sweat formed
Just when they thought He was dead the breath of life return
He held His hands out to me I could see were the nails had been
Taking His hand we crossed the bridge to heaven together as one
The lions tried to cross but the bridge broke and they fell in the lake
Reaching the gates we saw the pillars of statues the ones that tried before us
I asked what happened to them, He said they tried walking through the gate alone
They didn't listen when I said I was the only way truth, the light and only Key
The only way to be a real survivor is to give our life, our ways to Jesus Christ
He is the only one to calm the storms,the only one to keep us from the fall
Yes He maybe the bridge to heaven, but can’t leave Him the only key behind
