The Pope

This is a joke that my Pastor told:

The Pope just got out of the airplane and got into a limousine. He was late for a conference. As they started going on the highway, the Pope asked the driver if he could drive a little faster.

The driver responded:
"I'm really sorry. I have three speeding tickets and if I get one more then my license will be taken away, plus I am really tired and I don't trust my judgment."

The Pope replied:
"Okay then, why don't you take a nap and let me drive. I haven't had any tickets."

The drive agreed and the Pope sped away. The Pope was going well over 100 when a Police officer puller him over. The Pope pulled to the side and rolled down his window. When the Officer saw him, he asked him to wait as he walked by to his car.

The Officer called the Chief saying:
"Chief, I've pulled someone over and they are really important, what should I do?"

The Chief asked:
"Well, who is it?"

The Officer replied:
"You don't understand, they are really, really important."

This went on for a while...

Finally, the officer answered the Chief saying:
"Who ever they are, they are so important the they have the Pope as their driver."


LOL! I love this joke! I hope that you all enjoyed it too!

It is a very old joke. It used to be the President of USA, instead of the Pope.
Still good.

Seems there has been a number of light hearted jokes here lately. I find myself coming in to the joke section more often than I did before. It is so healthy to laugh.

A little Bible to go with the pun.....No one is greater than God.
