The Paradox of Christianity

  1. The Paradox of Christianity

Logical analogical thinking, and Christianity have nothing in common with each other. What makes sense in our minds does not equate to truth in scriptures. It is not logical for a man to spit in the face of a blind man, and make him see. It is not logical for a man to walk on water, or for a man to raise a dead man from the grave. It is not logical for a man to just speak words, and have another man's servant be healed. Every thing that man says is impossible is possible with God!!! Even in our believing we might hear things that are not possible, and sound crazy to us but in reality they are true.

It is not smart for any Christian to use his carnal physical mind in attempt to understand God's Word, when he knows the physical mind can not ever discover spiritual truth. As Paul the Apostle said, the “Carnal mind is a enemy of God, because it is not subject to the law of God.” Faith can never be released from the human physical mind. Memorizing scripture gives it no power to perform anything, but what does is the Word of God in the heart of man. Getting the Word of God in ones heart causes that same Word to come out directly from the heart, and completely bypass the brain. You don't even have think about it, it just comes out. Remember back in grade school when we use to use flash cards to learn the “TIMES TABLE”. We practiced them so much WE LEARNED THEM BY HEART!! How much more the Word of God should we speak it to get it into our hearts?

Scientists tell us the physical brain operates on about 8 watts of power, but the heart of man is where the Glory of God dwells which is unlimited in power. This is why scripture tells us...

Pro 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

2Co 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, HATH SHINED IN OUR HEARTS, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
2Co 4:7 But WE HAVE THIS TREASURE IN EARTHEN VESSELS, THAT THE EXCELLENCY OF THE POWER MAY BE OF GOD, AND NOT OF US.

It makes no logical sense for a man to be living inside a physical body on this earth, and at the exact same time that same person is sitting on the right hand of God in Christ!!! It makes no logical sense for Jesus Christ to be sitting on his throne on Mount Zion in Heaven, and yet at the exact same time he is living inside every believer!!! No, we do not have a carbon copy of Jesus, or a facsimile of him, but the real mc coy. This boggles the human brain, but it is easy to understand with mans re birthed heart.

It makes no logical sense in our brain for the Bible to tell us....

Heb 12:22 BUT YOU HAVE COME TO MOUNT ZION and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable angels in festal gathering,
Heb 12:23 and to the assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect,
Heb 12:24 and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

Why would we not believe this? I can tell exactly why, because it makes no logical sense!!!
Where exactly do we think God translated to when we were first saved? Disneyland!!! [IMG]:)

The Bible tells us that God can do EXCEEDING, ABUNDANTLY ABOVE ALL THAT WE CAN ASK OR THINK, and he does this according to the power that dwells within us!!! (Eph 3:20-21)
The power God uses that exceeds anything we can ask or think is the Glory of God, and that power is inside his Church which is us!!

What the Lord God has given unto us is way beyond anything we can ever imagine in our brain. We can not even ask God for things beyond his power to give. Why are we logical analytically studying the Bible when we know it is incapable of discovering its truth, and when we hear the truth we discount it as false?

We are to take control over what we believe in our head, and never ever listen to what it is trying to tell us. As the Apostle Paul told us that it is with the “HEART” man believes unto righteousness, and as Jesus once said, “it with the HEART that man UNDERSTANDS, SEES, and HEARS” (Acts 28:27)

  2. Jesus was a paradox! We read it in the Bible, by faith we accept it but, it is still a mystery to the human mind and how he did all this. My favorite is when Jesus, after his resurrection and he appeared to the 11 first and then the 12, in the upper room, the door was locked each time and he just appeared. But I suppose the greatest mystery is this: Colossians 1:27 : To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
