“For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace” (Romans 6:14). Sin is a harsh tyrant in your life. But Christ not only died for our sins, He died to sin. He has conquered sin and the devil and gives His people who are united with Him a victorious life of grace. Freedom is found in being a slave of our Lord Jesus (Romans 6:15-23)!"
Amen to that. Thanks to our loving Father, He has freed us from the
chains of what we only knew, sin. But He has pulled them away, and now
we live in Him, and we now see grace, something we dont get to see much
in our temporary home. "So stop seeing yourself as someone who has to sin. Stop choosing sin. Stop obeying sin"
I once thought that I was so broken, and so stained from sin that God
couldn't possibly want me. But He speaks to us in many ways, and God's
power to clean away our sins is more powerful than the one who creates them. He can turn murderers, adulterers, and tax collectors around and help them live a new life of grace, and He can even help me
Thank you Father, for cleaning me of my sin, and helping to fill the
darkness in my life with light. I dont know what I did for you to notice me,
and for you to even want me, but Father, I am glad that you pulled me
out of the dirt, and told me 'Child, I am with you always, in every storm
in your life, and in the light, and I want you to be mine.' And Lord I pray that you can help me live out faith 'like a child' and to make my life be a sacrifice to you.
