The Law of Change

1Co 1:27 But GOD CHOSE what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; GOD CHOSE what is weak in the world to shame the strong;
1Co 1:28 GOD CHOSE what is low and despised in the world, EVEN THINGS THAT ARE NOT, TO BRING TO NOTHING THINGS THAT ARE,

The law of change is the law of faith. Faith is the law of the new covenant, while the law of WORKS was the law of the Old Covenant.

God chose what is foolish to shame the wise.
God chose what is weak to shame the strong
God chose what is low, and despised, and the things that do not exist, to change the things that do exist.

Faith has the power to change the circumstances of our lives. Instead of removing things, God changes things!! We did not decide how these things would work, God decided this is how we should live!!! If we were called foolish by this worlds standards, if we were called weak by this worlds standards, if we are despised by this worlds standards, rejoice, because God hath chosen you to shame the wise, to shame the strong, and to use the things that are not yet revealed to our senses to change the things that are!!

Not only does the law of faith change things, it also changes us!! In this world if we wanted to have a winning team, we would only chose the most educated, the most strong, the most wise to be on our team. The Lord God does not operate with that kind of thinking as he chooses the weak, the foolish, the despised, the lowly and he gives to them his strength, his wisdom, his righteousness!! This is God's winning team, and his team never ever loses, because he never fails.

1Co 1:26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that NOT MANY WISE MEN AFTER THE FLESH, NOT MANY MIGHTY, NOT MANY NOBLE, ARE CALLED:
1Co 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

The next time you go to Church, look around, and you will notice that we all came off of the same boat!! No one has any advantage over anyone else!! We are all in good company with each other because we were all foolish, weak, low and despised, yet we are chosen of God to be on his winning team!!

Why would God choose to operate this way? The next verse tells us exactly why!!

1Co 1:29 That NO FLESH SHOULD GLORY IN HIS PRESENCE.

What does that mean? It means it is God alone who gives us his talents. It has nothing to do with anything we might have inherited from our parents, or any talents we might have have gained through using the wisdom of this world. No human strengths, wisdom of the flesh will ever stand in the presence of God. If any man glory's, let him glory only in what God has done through him!!!

2Co 10:17 But, "The one who brags should brag about what the Lord has done."
(NiRV)

1Pe 4:11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; IF ANY MAN MINISTER, LET HIM DO IT AS OF THE ABILITY WHICH GOD GIVETH: THAT GOD IN ALL THINGS MAY BE GLORIFIED THROUGH JESUS CHRIST, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
