the law in zion – the kingdom of god
he answered and said unto them, he that soweth the good seed is the son of man; the field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; the enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels as therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world the son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; and shall cast them into a furnace of fire: There shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear
and in the morning, it will be foul weather to day: For the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?
Say not ye, there are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? Behold, i say unto you, lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest
and he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: That both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together and herein is that saying true, one soweth, and another reapeth
but when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come
for afore the harvest, when the bud is perfect, and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, he shall both cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks, and take away and cut down the branches
thus saith the lord, as the new wine is found in the cluster, and one saith, destroy it not; for a blessing is in it: So will i do for my servants' sakes, that i may not destroy them all
neither do men put new wine into old bottles: Else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: But they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved
behold my servant, whom i uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; i have put my spirit upon him: He shall bring forth judgment to the gentiles
he shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: And the isles shall wait for his law
that they might bring up the ark of the covenant of the lord out of the city of david, which is zion
for the lord hath chosen zion; he hath desired it for his habitation
this is my rest for ever: Here will i dwell; for i have desired it
for out of zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the lord from jerusalem
beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great king
walk about zion, and go round about her: Tell the towers thereof
if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the lord thy god, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the lord thy god with all thine heart, and with all thy soul
for this commandment which i command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off
it is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it
see, i have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; in that i command thee this day to love the lord thy god, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: And the lord thy god shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it
but if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them; i denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over jordan to go to possess it
i call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that i have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: Therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the lord thy god, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: For he is thy life, and the length of thy days: That thou mayest dwell in the land which the lord sware unto thy fathers, to abraham, to isaac, and to jacob, to give them
in the last day, that great day of the feast, jesus stood and cried, saying, if any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink
