The Interferences

hello everybody

Right now I am on winter break from college. I have felt that in this time I should spend more time seeking the Lord in his word and in prayer. Recently when I went to pray; I kept feeling violent physical interferences while I was praying. I know that as we seek the Lord and draw closer to him, the adversary will elevating amounts of interference. I ask of you, to remember me in your prayers. Please pray for my protection and my endurance in seeking the Lord.

Hi Dan, you are in my prayer. Every thought that comes your way is not necessarily yours and certainly does not need to be received. When I get interference I find it best to find a quite place and worship God for an hour or two. This clears my head, even when it starts out dry I am touched by God and my focus is sharpened. Press into the presence of Jesus Christ my friend. He is always there and He is always enough.
The purpose of the enemies working is always to mentally separate us from fellowship with the One we love. Whenever I come under attack I simply say "thank you for reminding me" and I stop and draw near to the Father.
So if our flesh is unruly (it is always in opposition to the Holy Spirit) we take it to the cross, when the enemy attacks- well he is self defeating for he only drives us closer to our God.:shade:
