The Fullness of Joy

The Fullness of Joy

Psa 16:11 YOU MAKE KNOWN TO ME THE PATH OF LIFE; IN YOUR PRESENCE THERE IS FULLNESS OF JOY; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Every one wants to have joy unspeakable and full of Glory. The Joy of the Lord is our strength. The Bible tells us how to acquire such Joy. Notice in the beginning of this verse it says. “YOU MAKE KNOWN TO ME THE PATH OF LIFE” At the end of this “PATH” there is “LIFE, and that life is where we will find this fullness of Joy.

Jesus once said, “John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

The word, “Way” means, “highway, or path”. Jesus is the “PATH” that leads us to the “TRUTH”. The word, “TRUTH” means, “REALITY”. Reality is only found in a place that never changes. This world is ever changing, God's Kingdom never changes. Jesus is the path that leads us to the reality which is where we find life. In this life that Jesus leads us to is reality which only Jesus (the path) can bring us to as it is where the fullness of Joy is found, and it is only found in the presence of God the Father!!! No man can come to the Father except by me. “......IN YOUR PRESENCE THERE IS FULLNESS OF JOY.......”

Knowing we are sitting on the right hand of God in Christ is one thing, but how are we to experience this in our lives today?
How do we get into the presence of God? The presence of God with us right now is NOT the same thing as us coming into his presence, as they are two different things. When the Bible tells us to come boldly to the throne room of grace ( Hebrews 4:16 ) our two feet can NOT get us there, even though there is a “path” that leads us there, because it is not of this world!!! It is on this throne were God almighty sits enthrone in all of his Glory. While God sits upon his throne the source of his presence (light, God, God is light) beams out to all of his saints as he shines his light (presence) upon us all. What we want is to come to where that source is, so we can be filled with all the fullness of God, and the fullness of his joy which fills us.

As a believer there are certain promises which have been given unto us as a past tense event, not future tense that we MUST believe. It is absolutely essential that we know what these promises are, and believe them before we will ever be filled with the fullness of Joy that comes from being in God's presence!!!

We MUST believe we died with Christ on the cross!!! (Gal 2:20)
We MUST believe we were raised with Christ in his resurrection!!! (Eph 2:5-6)
We MUST believe we are right now sitting on the right hand of God in Heavenly places in Christ!!! (Eph 2:6)

If we do not believe these then we do not believe what the Bible says, and we are only believing what our flesh is telling us over, and above the Word of God!!!

The only way to be able to believe these scriptures is to begin to confess them out of our mouths every day until our mind gets renewed to the point where our heart, and mind come into agreement and we believe them. This is a battle that must be won!! Do not let anybody try to convince you that this is not true.

Col 3:1 If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

The reason why we are to seek those things that are above is because that is where we are!!! Brothers, and sisters we want to experience this Heavenly Kingdom to where we have been raised to. We can't, if we don't believe what scripture tells us!!!

Col 3:2 SET YOUR MINDS ON THINGS THAT ARE ABOVE, not on things that are on earth.

Not only are we to believe we have been raised with Christ, we are to set our hearts, and our minds on that Kingdom!!! Why, because that is where we are!!!

Col 3:3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

We have died with Christ on the cross, and we are to live our lives as those who are alive from the dead!! (Romans 6:13) Why, because we are alive from the dead!! Is Jesus alive from the dead?

This verse tells us what will happen if we believe we have been raised with Christ, and we are seeking the things where we are, and thinking on them continually!!!! This has nothing to do with the rapture of the Church or Jesus's second coming, it is about our “PRAYER LIFE” and what we should be experiencing in this life if we really believe the scriptures!!! Jesus gives us a perfect example of doing this on the mount of transfiguration. As he “PRAYED” (Jesus) his face shone like the sun in it's strength, and his clothes became white, and there “APPEARED” with him “IN GLORY” Moses, and Elijah, along with Peter James, and John!!!! (Luke 9:28-31) Now this is “fellow shipping” with the Saints in light!!!

If we really want to have the fullness of Joy in our lives every day this is how it is done. This is prayer at it's best. It does not get any better than this.
