The End of the Age

Jesus's disciples wanted to know what the signs would be of the end of the world. Jesus mentioned many things, but he said, “but, the end is not yet”, and then he describes more things and then said, “these were the beginning of sorrows” Earth quakes, wars and the rumor of wars, nations against nations, afflictions, deceivers, famines, and pestilences..ect. We look at these things and say the end is near, but the end is not yet. These things are only the beginning of sorrows. The true sign of the end is what Jesus said here.

Mat 24:14 And THIS GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM SHALL BE PREACHED IN ALL THE WORLD for a witness unto all nations; and THEN SHALL THE END COME.

Not until the Gospel of the Kingdom is preached unto all the nations will the end come. In my life time radio, and television have been the most efficient means to proclaim the Gospel. Only problem with this is only select few people have the money, and the means to use this medium to proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom. The internet is the most efficient way to spread the Gospel today. The world wide web is connected over the entire earth. There is almost no place you can go and not be connected, even our cell phones have access to the world.

Even so there will be places that need a person to person contact in order proclaim the Kingdom message. Jesus marveled at a man who he said had the greatest faith of anyone he had seen on planet earth. That was a Gentile solder who said, “he did not need Jesus to come to his home to heal his servant, but just speak the Word and my servant shall be healed!!” (Matt 8:8-10)

The Apostle Paul said.....

1Co 9:26 So I DO NOT RUN AIMLESSLY; I DO NOT BOX AS ONE BEATING THE AIR.
1Co 9:27 But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.

It is very easy to get into the flesh, and do things for the Kingdom of God that we think is right, but later find out it was just a fleshly exercise that yielded no results. We need to run not as one who is just beating the air!! We think just go into all the world and preach the Gospel as Jesus said, and that is what we do, but, the scripture also says, “those who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God. We don't just go without the Holy Spirit leading us to go, or we are going to be in trouble, and have no success.

If we understood the power of faith as we should, then we can speak the word, and it will prosper in thing it is sent. We do not have to be in the vicinity of a person for faith to work on their behalf. Yeah, but Jesus was the Son of God, that's why it worked for him. Jesus walked not as the Son of God, but as the Son of man, anointed with of holy Spirit!!

We can save a lot of leg work, and be much more efficient if we understood that God has his people all over the world, in every city, and in every town. Jesus told Paul.....

Act 18:9 And the Lord said to Paul one night in a vision, “Do not be afraid, but go on speaking and do not be silent,
Act 18:10 for I AM WITH YOU, and no one will attack you to harm you, FOR I HAVE MANY IN THIS CITY WHO ARE MY PEOPLE.” (ESV)

The body of Christ seems to be spread out all over this planet earth, and what we need to do is pray that the Lord of the Harvest to send labors into his harvest. You do not need to go to another country as there are people already there that belong to God, they just need to be led by the Spirit of God as we pray to God to send them!! Jesus said......

Mat 9:37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
Mat 9:38 PRAY YE THEREFORE THE LORD OF THE HARVEST, THAT HE WILL SEND FORTH LABOURERS INTO HIS HARVEST.

I have many times been led of the Spirit in my own area to minister to someone here. I did not just tell my self to go, I was lead there. Surely, someone prayed for that to happen, maybe even the one who needed salvation or needed ministering to.

The Church needs to be wise as serpents, but gentle as doves if the Gospel of the Kingdom is going to be proclaimed in all the world, and then the end will come.

Thank you for sharing that message brother @Curtis

I believe there are many opportunities opened up to us to share the Gospel.....right where we are. A little nudge from the Spirit to proclaim Jesus.

O Lord make us more receptive to those opportunities....may Your word burn in our hearts and flow out at the right time to a seeking soul.

Even so come Lord Jesus.
