I had this dream in 1987 but was always afraid to tell it.
The lighter letters are the dream and the darker ones
are the interpretation that God gave me.

I remember taking note of the light of the day. It had no brilliance. Instead, it was like a total eclipse of the sun. An orange hue hung over the land.

I am a hunter and the Lord knows there is one thing that stops me when I hunt. When the sun goes down on certain days, there is an orange hue that bathes everything. There is a magic in the color and when it happens, I do nothing but stand and look. The scene before me has my complete attention.

There was no movement of life at all. Not even birds chirping or flying around like they always do. Just nothing happening. I was seeing it like it was a picture, but it was a living picture. I was not in the picture, but I was viewing it from a front row seat.

It is not natural for there to be no movement in the woods when the day is ending. The squirrels are heading for their nests and the birds are chirping as they nest down. The lack of sound and movement held my attention and I knew this was not a regular dream.

Nothing happened in this scene for a long time. I remember wondering why the scene didn’t change but I just stood there and watched.

God knows that I know what dreams are like and how they move along and that if the dream stood still, I would know that I should pay attention to this one. I can control my dreams and I remember saying to myself that something was different here and I wondered why the dream was doing nothing. I knew right away that the dream was different so I just stood watching and waiting.

After awhile, I noticed that there was some movement just a short distance away. It wasn’t much but it did cause me to look in that direction.

God wanted me to see that movement. He knew that hunters don’t just look, they examine.

The movement was coming from a small dip in the ground in a low lying area. Though I didn’t realize what I was seeing, I was fully aware that the being that caught my eye had not come out of a hole in the ground. Instead, it seemed to be growing on top of the ground. Like it had been lying there in a deep sleep and was now awakened and was now growing larger. I knew also that the being was evil for I felt fear as I stood there.

I determined that the beast was coming from on top of the ground and not from a hole from hell. The beast lying on top of the ground is and indication that the beast is already here and is not yet to come up from hell. The deep sleep is the beast lying in wait until his time and is now beginning to come into his realm of power.

As the beast grew larger, I could see that it was a great dragon. He was huge and black. He swayed back and forth as he struggled to get free. He grew rapidly larger.

Beast or Dragon in the form of a creature represents a person or organization. Huge is great power and Black is evil. “Swaying back and forth,” means that the beast knows that he will come into his own power and is content with this knowledge. “As he struggled to get free,” means that even though he is content, he is also anxious to be freed. “He grew rapidly larger,” indicates that the dragon will come into power (but not full power) and take over quickly.

He had cold hard eyes, but they were blank. He was looking at me but was not seeing me. He seemed to be looking right through me like I wasn’t even there.

The cold hard eyes are the sign of cold hard authority. The reason he was looking through me was because he was looking at Christ who was standing behind me. The word Me, in this case is not any person but rather, it is the religious people who are left here after the rapture. At this time, they are not a threat to the beast so they are not there for him to see.

His size was enormous now. His mouth was open in a menacing way but he did nothing.

The power of the beast was now nearly complete and even though there were world powers with questions and doubts, the dragon was not yet going to destroy them.

I knew after awhile that the dragon could now see me and now I felt that I was in danger.

At this point the dragon can see a threat from the remaining church and will set about to destroy the people. Destroying them is figurative of destroying Christ.

The size of the dragon was now complete and the fire from his mouth could destroy me.

The dragon now is in full power with the nations backing. This includes the destruction of those who oppose the power of the beast and its system.

I was powerless and didn’t know what to do. Now I felt fearful

Those who rely on their own strength will be fearful and with no power. Those who stand with God will be protected.

The dragon’s eyes met mine and I trembled as he opened his mouth. I didn’t know what to do. I knew this was a dream but I felt great fear. I knew I could stop the dream at any time but I let it go on.

The beast will attempt to destroy Gods people and they will now begin to feel the full destructive power of the beast. The beast will now call for a full reckoning of their beliefs.

The dark red flame and the thick black smoke that issued from the dragons mouth frightened me. I felt I was lost.

The dark red flames are the dealings of the beast that are not good. The thick black smoke is the cover up of the truth (in power). There will be those who see the dragon for who he is from the beginning and will oppose him. They will be destroyed, but will not be lost.

As the flame began to engulf the area, I heard the voice of the Lord speak to me. The Lord told me to raise up my hand quickly. Though I had much fear, I did as the voice said. I raised my right hand up as if to say stop to the dragon. The flame from the dragon issued forth with great force.

The dragon will take over everything but “I your God will be with you who call on me. I will stand before you.” The people will not trust, but they will obey their God. The right hand is the standard of God raised up before the dragon. The dragon will come against God with all of the force that he has seeking to destroy utterly.

Now I sensed that there was someone behind me. I turned my head and glimpsed the side profile of a man in a robe. It was Jesus. Still fearful, I raised my other hand to block the dragon’s breath as red flames completely enveloped me. I was in the center of the flames but was not being hurt by them.

When God’s people begin to trust in him, they will know that He is leading them. The profile of Christ was the Lord standing with me. But even then in fear or lack of complete trust, I raised my other hand. Raising my hand was an act of authority and control of command. The command was “Thou Shalt Not.” The act of obedience will be as it is now. God will protect us.

Though I don’t understand fully about the blood of Christ, I knew that the blood was the only thing that could stop the dragon but I didn’t have the blood. I knew Christ was behind me but when I turned, he was gone.

My unlearned ness is reason for confusion. With Jesus standing with me, I didn’t need the Blood. When I turned and found him gone, I then needed the Blood. The Blood of Christ is the blood that I needed.

I knew within myself that binding the dragon with words would not work. I felt strongly that I needed the Blood of Christ, but I didn’t have it.

This battle is between the dragon and Christ and not with the Christians. As Christians, we are told to bind or loose the forces that affect our lives. This dragon’s battle is with the Son of God. When the dragon looked through me, he was looking at Christ, the one whom he seeks to destroy. When Christ was no longer behind me, I was left in the representative position needing now the blood of Christ. The Authority of Christ. This dragon’s battle is with Christ and can not be bound by Christians.

I remembered that the wine we used for communion was a representation of the Blood of Christ and I felt that this would do. Then I knew I didn’t have that either. My mind raced on and I reasoned that if the juice being used as a representation worked, then so would any other liquid we used.

Using the Blood of Christ is the same as doing in the name of Jesus. We speak in the name of Jesus which is using the power of the person, this being Christ. The blood of Christ in the dream was needed as the object used since Christ wasn’t fighting the battle himself. Christ is the Authority, but the authority figure was needed to do the work. In this case, it was the water.

I turned and caught sight of another person. This person had no face or features and brought no one to mind as did the image of Christ.

This person represents those who stand to serve and are only recognized by the Father.

I needed water to represent the Blood. I felt very definite that I should not go to get it nor should I know where it came from.

Things that are holy are only holy because God has said that they are. All other things are not but God does allow us to hold other things in high esteem. The water which was to be used was not Holy but it was a representation of a Holy God. Because of this, my feelings may have been altered if I had known that the water came from the nearest mud hole instead of some imagined “Holy,” place.

I instructed the person to get the water but not to tell me from where it came, and he left. Quickly he arrived back with 2 communion glasses filled with water.

I wept when God told me what this meant for only He knew about the 2 glasses and what they meant to me. (private)

God instructed me to throw the water on the dragon. I told the other person to throw it and we both did. We did, but to my dismay, the water fell short of the dragon. It fell on the ground at the feet of the dragon. My heart sank when the water fell to the ground. Even though I was in a dream state, I felt terrible. I knew I had done what my Lord said to do, but I had failed.

Informing the person to throw the water and doing it were acts of obedience. To this point, I have done the things required of me but now I might have felt high and mighty, or tried to take credit for doing. For this reason, it was necessary for me to fail. Even though I had been doing what God directed, I still had feeling of failure. If God had allowed me to take the credit, then He would have had to let me stand the lose too. Since God’s intent was not for me to stand or fall, but to fight the dragon, He had to take my pride of acknowledgement out of the way. To God be the glory for it is He who does through us, His works.

Then I remembered saying aloud, “As oft as you drink this cup, do it in remembrance of me.” I sensed that the words spoken were an authority and not idle words.

These words were not mine but they were the words of the Supreme Authority, God. These are his words and He is not simply just talking to us. He is doing it as a constant reminder not only as to who He is, but also who we are.
1 Cor. 11:24. Take, eat: this is my body which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
“Through my words to you, I have asked that you not forget that my body was broken for you. I took your place on that cross. I died for all the things you did wrong. For your sins, I died. Remember this.”
1 Cor. 11:25. This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye as oft as you drink it, in remembrance of me.
“Do you remember my death in my new testament? Nay., for I am not dead. Remember instead, my new testament. My covenant with you which is sealed with my blood. Your victory lies not in my death, but in my life.”

As the water hit the ground, I noticed that it was not much water. The size of a small puddle. How rapidly the water grew to a pool.

The water hitting the ground was because of a small act of obedience. The small act in no way implies the power of God. The changing of the size of the pool is the growth of faith that we experience. When we find that God’s word is as powerful as He says, our faith will increase in size rapidly.

The water had no ripples or waves. It was like hot liquid gold and shined with brilliance. The pool was calm as it flowed around the dragon.

The power of God is not as the rushing winds loudly announcing their arrival. It is strong and silent. Total and complete authority needs no announcement of its arrival. It is there at all times. God does not brag as does the wind. The whisper of God is all that is needed.

I could feel the brilliance of the pool as small tongues of flame began to move about on the water.

The brilliance is the awesome power of God. The tongues of flame are God’s word.

As the pool completed its circle around the dragon, he began casting fire in the air in all directions so that the fire was falling everywhere.

The dragon now was forced to see God on all sides. Until the circle was complete, the dragon went on with his fooling the nations refusing to acknowledge the presents of God. When the circle was complete, the dragon saw on all sides that his time was up.

The flames went out in long trails and covered the sky. It was like the sky was on fire.

The long trails are the far reaching power of the dragon and the sky being on fire is the complete covering and total ness of his realm.

The dragon raged and roared and spit his destruction but now the flame was beginning to devour him.

The dragon now had to persuade and convince with force (raged and roared) because he was loosing his power. Those not giving in to the dragon are destroyed. The power of God is taking hold and the dragon is loosing his grip on the people.

The pool remained calm but the flames now were beginning to lick at the dragons flesh.

The stead fast power of God is destroying the dragon. The power of the dragon is weakening.

The dragon writhed in the flame causing him to send more flames across the sky.

The nearing destruction of the dragon and his futile attempt to win against God.

I saw the white hot flames of the Lord as they licked at the dragons flesh.

The totally consuming power of God.

I did not see the dragon destroyed. The dragon was growing smaller and I sensed that the battle was not over as I ended the dream.

The battle was yet to be completed for he is not to be destroyed at this time. He will only be subdued.

I felt badly that I had no finished ending to the dream. Prior to writing this last page, I was reading a book in which God gave me the ending for the dream, The Dragon. In the book, a man had a dream without an ending so he asked God why it was so. The answer God gave him was to me also. It is quoted from the book “Pigs in the Parlor by Frank and Ida Mae Hammond. I inquired of the Lord as to why I was not permitted to see the finish in my dream.

The Lord asked me in return why I wanted to see it through to the end. I explained that I was desirous of knowing the outcome. The Lord then said a beautiful thing to me. “Son,” He said. You do not need to know the outcome; you already know it. My word has promised you that you are on the winning team. It will be even as I have said. No, you do not need to know the outcome but you do need to know that the final conflict has begun.

The power of God is not as the rushing winds loudly announcing their arrival. It is strong and silent. Total and complete authority needs no announcement of its arrival. It is there at all times. God does not brag as does the wind. The whisper of God is all that is needed.

The brilliance is the awesome power of God. The tongues of flame are God’s word.

> </o>As the pool completed its circle around the dragon, he began casting fire in the air in all directions so that the fire was falling everywhere.

The dragon now was forced to see God on all sides. Until the circle was complete, the dragon went on with his fooling the nations refusing to acknowledge the presents of God. When the circle was complete, the dragon saw on all sides that his time was up.

> </o>The flames went out in long trails and covered the sky. It was like the sky was on fire.

The long trails are the far reaching power of the dragon and the sky being on fire is the complete covering and total ness of his realm.

> </o>The dragon raged and roared and spit his destruction but now the flame was beginning to devour him.

The dragon now had to persuade and convince with force (raged and roared) because he was loosing his power. Those not giving in to the dragon are destroyed. The power of God is taking hold and the dragon is loosing his grip on the people.

The stead fast power of God is destroying the dragon. The power of the dragon is weakening.

The nearing destruction of the dragon and his futile attempt to win against God.

> </o>I did not see the dragon destroyed. The dragon was growing smaller and I sensed that the battle was not over as I ended the dream.

> </o>The battle was yet to be completed for he is not to be destroyed at this time. He will only be subdued.

> </o>I felt badly that I had no finished ending to the dream. Prior to writing this last page, I was reading a book in which God gave me the ending for the dream, The Dragon. In the book, a man had a dream without an ending so he asked God why it was so. The answer God gave him was to me also. It is quoted from the book “Pigs in the Parlor by Frank and Ida Mae Hammond. I inquired of the Lord as to why I was not permitted to see the finish in my dream.

The Lord asked me in return why I wanted to see it through to the end. I explained that I was desirous of knowing the outcome. The Lord then said a beautiful thing to me. “Son,” He said. You do not need to know the outcome; you already know it. My word has promised you that you are on the winning team. It will be even as I have said. No, you do not need to know the outcome but you do need to know that the final conflict has begun.
