I appreciate the time and effort you have put into this. There are some great scriptures here.
I would be interested to hear what some of these scriptures mean to you.
Some scriptures are pretty self explanatory, but many are not.

Acts 8:30; Philip ran up and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?”
Acts 8:31; And he said, “Well, how could I, unless someone guides me?” And he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.

The Holy Spirit can teach and guide us in interpreting scripture, but not all have the Holy Spirit. In fact, not all are saved.

Thanks for reading and God bless!

I would be interested to hear what some of these scriptures mean to you.

I'll gladly offer my own insight into any scripture you are wondering about, just let me know which particular verses are on your mind! I believe that all verses mean exactly what they say; I believe that scripture has manifold meanings. I do not believe verses should be taken out of context only, but as we study them, we should become familiar with the context in which these statements were uttered. The words of the Holy Bible apply to every life on earth, and we will all interpret scripture in a way that applies to us individually while also trying to understand from other perspectives.

John 1:9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

Proverbs 3:5 ¶ Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

I also believe it is healthy to study scripture with others, so please feel free to contact me with any questions/insight in regards to scripture:

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

The Holy Spirit can teach and guide us in interpreting scripture, but not all have the Holy Spirit. In fact, not all are saved.

I personally believe that every word of the Authorized English bible is true. I do not claim to fully understand anything! I just decided to accept that the bible was true, whether I understand it all or not. This has blessed my life. God has indeed offered insight, and I now live athirst for the water of the word. (He gives this freely,) I must agree 100% that the Holy Spirit will teach us by His word.

Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Romans 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

1 Corinthians 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

2 Corinthians 11:7 Have I committed an offence in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because I have preached to you the gospel of God freely?

Revelation 21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

Revelation 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

The scripture you quoted, Acts 8: 30-31 is something I studied last week! Phillip was trying to help the Ethiopian understand scripture he was reading from Isaiah. I read aloud, and imagined this story playing out before my eyes and wept. Imagine that man not quite understanding the words he was reading, but being bold enough to declare his faith in Christ, (whether he understood the words or not)?! I would have wanted to jump out of that carriage to be baptized as well, I know that feeling of just trusting the LORD! Stand still!! Believing without understanding is what mankind has been doing since the beginning. I think God's grace is bigger than any of us know, and yes there are people today who are not saved. Let us pray that they, like we have, may find faith. For not all have faith. (God wills that all men might be saved. Even though we cannot fully understand that, let us pray for strength: one for another).

Acts 8: 26 And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert. 27 And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship, 28 Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet. 29 Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot. 30 And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest? 31 And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him. 32 The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth: 33 In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth. 34 And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man? 35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. 36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? 37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. 38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

John 1:7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
