The introduction, hello I'm yort. The inquiry;(key question), In your personal opinion, what do you understand it takes for a person to go to heaven? (Transition Statement); I'd like to share with you how the Bible answers this question, if its alright. There is a word that can be used to answer this question, FAITH. (At this time I spell it out on my fingers). F is for FORGIVENESS. We cannot have eternal life and heaven without God's forgiveness. "In Him [meaning Jesus] we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins" EPHESIANS 1:7a (nkjv). A is for AVAILABLE. Forgiveness is available. It is-AVAILABLE FOR ALL;For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life". John 3:16,(nkjv). BUT NOT AUTOMATIC; "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord,Lord,' shall enter into the Kingdom of heaven". MATTHEW 7:21a;(nkjv). I is for IMPOSSIBLE. It is impossible for God to allow sin into heaven. GOD is love-*LOVE John 3:16 (nkjv),*JUST "Dfor judgment is without mercy"-JAMES 2:13a(nkjv),*MAN IS SINFUL, "For all have sin and fall short of the glory of God" ROMANS 3:23(nkjv). Now here's a question that has been popped on me,"But how can a sinful person enter heaven, where God allows no sin? T is for TURN. Question you can ask,If your driving down the road and someone asked you to turn,what would he or she be asking you to do?(CHANGE DIRECTION). Turn means to repent. TURN from something-SIN and SELF. "But unless you repent you will likewise perish"LUKE 13:13b,(nkjv). TURN to someone; trust Christ only. (The Bible tells us that)" Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures". 1 Corinthians 15:3b-4,(nkjv). "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved". Romans 10:9,(nkjv). H is for HEAVEN. Heaven is eternal life. Here," I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly" John 10:10b. HEREAFTER. "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you maybe also". John 14:3,(nkjv). HOW;How can a person have God's forgiveness, heaven and eternal life, and Jesus as a personal savior and Lord?( FORSAKING ALL I TRUST HIM), and Romans 10:9. Well it seems like a lot and it is. I took the thought that I was a starter on the best team that a person could be on, and that. I was playing at the enemy's home field. You've got to practice, you've got to put on your best armor, because your going to battle, your going right at the enemy. This is an attack and its not something he takes lightly. So remember when you start winning souls for the Kingdom of Heaven your going to draw attention to yourself. He'll through everything at you he can. So prepare yourself, pray for the Spirit of God to go out in front of you and soften the hearts of the lost. I would suggest you to talk to your Pastor and formulate a game plan. Myself personally next to your own personal salvation leading someone to the Lord is the greatest gift that can be bestowed upon a person and what better way to serve the Lord Jesus Christ.
