Matt 4:1
1 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.

xxx From birth we have always had the devil talking to us. Right along with our guardian angel. And satan. Ofcourse satan and the devil are the same being. All the thoughts of wrath is from satan. All our good thoughts that help us are from our guardian angel. All our thoughts that deceive us into sinning is from the devil. That is why it is so important to find the Holy Spirit and learn from Him who is who. If you follow the Holy Spirit, He will lead you into resisting the devil and purging the thoughts and emotions that support the devil. Everyone has their own devil, satan, Holy Spirit, guardian angel.

[1] And you [He made alive], who were dead in trespasses and sins,
[2] in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience,

28 "But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.
29 "Or how can one enter a strong man's house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house.
30 "He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.

27 And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in [any] house, but in the tombs.

We can choose not to listen to the devil. As Christians we know our God is stronger and will protect us if we ask in prayer. We have protection, we are not defenceless.

We can choose not to listen to the devil. As Christians we know our God is stronger and will protect us if we ask in prayer. We have protection, we are not defenceless.
It is a matter of discernment, of knowing whose voice is leading us. I pray that I hear Jesus over and above any other.
Resist the devil and he shall flee.

You can try. But what if you didnt it was the devil?


It appears you have trifted off into your imagination. You will never hear God speak nor see His form.

xxx You should learn where your thoughts or voices come from. You were born with a guardian angel, and a devil. And emotions which are unclean spirits. These are all your thoughts. Later when you receive the Holy Spirit He is only going to speak with the verses out of the new testament, Satan is going to speak with the old testament, verses. And all your emotions are going to push you towards your devil's opinion. All your affections are going to lead to your inner man. Your inner man is your spirit and soul. All your affections come from your soul. Your inner man is who you are.

1 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for [that Day will not come] unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. 5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things?
