have you got any answers?
Youve seen it in the scriptures in Deutronomy 18...things about spiritists and consultation of the dead.the question is, does this mean THE SOUL still exists here...exactly...i don't know, you tell me.

Answer to the Best of MY knowledge

This is a contriversial issue, but below is my take on it.

Before Christ Jesus came & died, the spirit of each individual was held in a special place in neither heaven nor hell.

While Christ Jesus was dead, He went, taking His gift of Salvation to all of the dead people. Then, the spirit of those who accepted this gift went to heaven, those who did not went to hell.

After Christ Jesus rose again, all who accepted His gift while alive, their spirits have gone to heaven. Those who have refused His gift while alive, their spirits have gone to hell.

i feel rlowe is right, i am not sure about before Jesus dieing the souls lingered but i have no explanation of my own and she could be right but i dont believe there is a seperation of body and spirit, paul speaks of having a new body and i believe inside that new body there will be a perfected soul.
