GOD struck them with a multitude of new languages so they lost the ability to cooperate and drifted way across the single post-flood landmass until reaching empty land where they could establish their own tribe and nation.
Once GOD saw they had spread across the world GOD caused the single crust to break up aided by the great ice masses that had been building up from rain and snow since the flood.
Great chunks of crust fell to make the oceans while other chunks were raised high to make the mountains.
At Creation Earth had one landmass and that still existed once the flood waters had drained back inside earth or were evaporating to make the clouds, rain and snows.
After the Peleg upheavals Earth is now 70% water and just 30% land with that land divided into one third icy mountain, one third desert and just one third or only 10% of Earth available as fertile land fo rus humans to live on.
We can know this because every mountainside shows numerous layers of sediments and those sediments contain fossils and debris from the Flood.
I studied the sediment layers in a quarry a hundred yards from home.
Afater the Millennium GOD will remake Earth back to a Garden of Eden paradise for the pure Chrsitians to live eternally on.
