Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. (NIV)

Are you nurturing a relationship with Jesus that will stay with you until the end of days? Even when you have forgotten names, dates, and familiar faces, will your faith be strong enough to still know you are a child of God? No one looks forward to that season of life with anticipation, but it isn't comforting to know we don't walk alone. Make a relationship with God a priority each and every day. He will provide protection and comfort.

I know a man, who becomes more and more forgetful of many things as the days go by, but his heart is firmly turned toward the Lord and no one who is paying attention at all can fail to notice it. His Spirit is God's Spirit. His love is God's love. Does he have to remember everything in order to know who God is and who the Son of God is? He has lived by faith from before 1936 but it was that year that he received the gift of the Holy Ghost. Three years now he has been a widower and though the pain of that separation after 66 years of marriage was and is great leaving an empty place in his life, he walks on with God blessing all of those whose lives he touches.

Give God the glory!

Give God the glory!
Indeed, a story worth glorifying God for!
