"Abundant Life"
John 10:10 - 'The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to
destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it
more abundantly.'*Many times as believers we feel like we are entitled to abundant life only*after we are dead and are in heaven. But that is not the case. To*understand this properly, you must understand Jesus' teachings. Jesus*taught the Kingdom of heaven, the Kingdom of God, and the Kingdom of*darkness. He wanted us to know that while we are here on earth, we can either*have abundant life, or we can be dead. The abundant life that he spoke of is life in the midst*of a dark world. Jesus mentioned heaven after death a few times, but he taught*the Kingdom constantly because he wants us to move into a different mindset.*Being blessed on earth, having an abundance of him on earth, and having peace*on earth. This is the abundant life in Christ.
*Antichrist is the opposite of abundant life. Antichrist is death! That's*why, when we think of the devil we think of murder, death, kill! But there*is more to it than that. The devil, being antichrist or anti abundant life,*means not enough, cursed, bound, hurt, sick, etc. Not just hell after*death, but hell on earth. Your situations, circumstance, pains, etc. are*designed to bring hell and death to you on earth. But because of Christ, he*has enabled us to have life in the midst of it all. He came to bring us a*way to live in peace in the midst of what is going on in our lives. He came*to bring us hope when hope seems unattainable. This is what the world seeks after.*Even when there is no money, there can be peace. Even while there is turmoil surrounding*your circumstance, there can be joy. While you go through your wilderness experience*you can have an abundance of his love to pull you through and lead and guide you out!*Yes, heaven is gonna be good. But Jesus came to bring us some of that heaven right*here on earth. Abundant life is what he has to offer if you would only seek his kingdom*and your proper place in it.
