The Christian Outlook

As our presidential election draws near in just a few days, we hearing the latest slamming of each candidate trying to discredit the other on the latest news cycle. This information is so disgusting it causes us to form a “outlook” that is not pretty. What this country has come to over the years is a shame, and it is all because of the evil that has been allowed to rule. There is no good future that can be formulated from this kind of information that we hear from all forms of media. In other words it is a “Debbie downer” Is anyone being refreshed from this kind of news?

The Bible tells us where we are to get our “OUTLOOK” from that is life, and peace. We have a “news” reporter that only speaks the truth to us, and it's outlook only forms good things

Rom 8:4 so that the righteous requirement of the law may be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
Rom 8:5 For THOSE WHO LIVE ACCORDING TO THE FLESH HAVE THEIR OUTLOOK SHAPED BY THE THINGS OF THE FLESH, but THOSE WHO LIVE ACCORDING TO THE SPIRIT HAVE THEIR OUTLOOK SHAPED BY THE THINGS OF THE SPIRIT.
Rom 8:6 For the outlook of the flesh is death, but the outlook of the Spirit is life and peace, (NET)

Outlooks are formed by information from two different areas, the flesh, and the Spirit. The outlook that is formed by the latest news cycle or any type of media is “DEATH”. The flesh sees nothing good coming from what's happening today, and it has the attitude “lets just wait and see what happens” with a sense of pending doom.

The outlook formed by the Spirit (Holy Spirit) is always life, and peace regardless of what is happening in the physical world around us. We should never focus our attention on the physical, but the spiritual.
Those who will walk in the flesh are the ones who have their “outlook” shaped and formed by what the flesh is sensing. Every thing we see and hear with our physical senses forces us to form a outlook that is not good, and it brings us unrest and worry over what we see coming. Every thing the Spirit God reveals to us only brings peace, and comfort because what we see in the spirit is completely opposite to what we see in the physical. What we see in the spirit is what will be in the physical. What is being ACCOMPLISHED in the physical is what was already FINISHED in the spiritual before the world began!!!

Jesus walked in what his Father had prepared for him to walk in!!! There were no surprises to Jesus as every thing that happened he saw FIRST in the spirit before they happened in the physical!!

As Jesus said.......

John 5:19 So Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, THE SON CAN DO NOTHING OF HIS OWN ACCORD, BUT ONLY WHAT HE SEES THE FATHER DOING. FOR WHATEVER THE FATHER DOES, THAT THE SON DOES LIKEWISE.
John 5:20 For THE FATHER LOVES THE SON AND SHOWS HIM ALL THAT HE HIMSELF IS DOING. And greater works than these will he show him, so that you may marvel. (ESV)

Every single miracle Jesus performed he saw FIRST in the spirit, and it was revealed by his Father to him before he did them. This is called a “OUTLOOK” being reveled by the Holy Spirit!!!!

Many times we say, “lets wait and see what the Lord is going to do at Church today.” Well, with that kind of outlook we are not going to see much!!! What we should be seeing (outlook) is the blind being given their sight, the lame walking, and the sick healed first before we see them happening in our mist in front of our eyes!!! These are the kinds of things the Spirit of God forms as our outlook as we walk in the Spirit.

1Co 2:9 But, as it is written, "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him"—
1Co 2:10 THESE THINGS GOD HAS REVEALED TO US THROUGH THE SPIRIT. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
