I've been reading a lot of the literature of Dr, Fr, Malachi Martin lately. He says the antichrist will be idenfied by the 3 following signs 1) The world will be faced with unprecedented and profound problems which seem unsolveable. 2) A man will come along with real practical solutions to our problems and his solutions WILL work 3) People will see these wonders and say, "you must be God to be able to solve all of our problems." And he will accept worship as God.
I have been thinking about this a bit today and one idea that has been popping up in my head is that perhaps since Judaism does not believe that the Messiah (Christ) has arrived yet that perhaps they would be more likely to believe that this antichrist actually is the Messiah who has finally arrived. I hope I am wrong. I hope that nobody chooses to follow the antichrist. Sadly, we know that many will.
