  1. In Genesis1:14 we have how God has appointed the signs.

Would just like to get started on this topic for now and hoping interest will bring us all into research of a topic few know about.

Basically through NASA chart research, it is found that there is a unussual occurance of blood red eclipses which are falling on Jewish feastdays. The lunar ones are falling on passover and feast of tabernacles. 2 years in a row. in 1948 there was the Jewish independence then in 1949 and 1950 were the same eclipses as mentioned above. In 1967 Israel became a nation. 68-69 was the same 4 eclipses.

my own observation is where no one mentions 2013. They do mention 2014 and 2015 as the next 4 eclipses event. Maybe because they don't know what will happen yet. It is note worthy that the solar eclipses in that time period will also fall on Jewish feast days.

Now is the time for us to get our eshcatology right. We must do our homework for what we believe as many are wrong about many things. We know that the bible can be difficult, but we must ask the Holy Spirit to guide us Jn. 16.

That is interesting. There will be a blood moon in the 6th seal judgment. Revelation 6:12

I also believe there will be a permanent solar eclipse over Jerusalem in Revelation 16:10

    Revelation 16:10–11 KJV
10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain.
11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

    Habakkuk 3:11–13 KJV
11 The sun and moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of thine arrows they went, and at the shining of thy glittering spear.
12 Thou didst march through the land in indignation, thou didst thresh the heathen in anger.
13 Thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people, even for salvation with thine anointed; thou woundedst the head out of the house of the wicked, by discovering the foundation unto the neck. Selah.

Habakkuk foresaw the sun and moon stand still over Israel in such a way that they “went,” meaning that these two heavenly bodies stayed over Israel and went dark or disappeared from view before the Lord came to Armageddon with His anointed.

    Isaiah 16:1–5 KJV
1 Send ye the lamb to the ruler of the land from Sela to the wilderness, unto the mount of the daughter of Zion.
2 For it shall be, that, as a wandering bird cast out of the nest, so the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon.
3 Take counsel, execute judgment; make thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday; hide the outcasts; bewray not him that wandereth.
4 Let mine outcasts dwell with thee, Moab; be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler: for the extortioner is at an end, the spoiler ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land.
5 And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.

While the tribulation war rages, the part of Jordan that is populated with the people of Moab will be destroyed. The surviving people will move south

to the river ford or river crossing place on the Arnon River. God tells the people of Moab to help the fleeing Jews and let them stay at the river Arnon. Now look at verse three. Christ, the Lamb, will give Israel a shadow at noonday before Armageddon. This is the shadow that will be formed
by a permanent solar eclipse over Israel.

    Joel 3:14–16 KJV
14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the
Lord is near in the valley of decision.
15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.
16 The Lord also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the Lord will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.

Joel foresaw the sun and moon go dark before the battle of Armageddon starts. The stars also will stop shining over Israel because a solar eclipse causes a twilight condition. Twilight occurs because there is still enough light in the sky to prevent someone from seeing the stars. We now have a similar condition immediately after sunset.

    Amos 8:2–3, 8–9 KJV
2 And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the Lord unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more.
3 And the songs of the temple shall be howlings in that day, saith the Lord God: there shall be many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast them forth with silence.
8 Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth therein? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it shall be cast out and drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.
9 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord God, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day:

When the end comes for Israel, God will cause the sun to darken on a clear day. The darkness is not caused by clouds. Notice that it is noonday, so the sun is directly over Israel at that time.

    Job 38:12–13, 15, 22–24 KJV
12 Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the
    dayspring to know his place;
13 That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?

15 And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the high arm
    shall be broken.
22 Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,
23 Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?
24 By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth?

There are many other verses that describe the solar eclipse.
  3. that's good stuff

appreciate those scriptures. You know when Jesus was on the cross it turned dark. They say it couldn't be an eclipse, but see it was supernatural dark. It was midday. One thing that seems to be seen in that is that it was on passover. The blood moons fall on passover first. If there was no eclipse but a message of prophetical interest, then we can see the dark could foreshadow the event, though it seems to have been kept a secret for our time.
The same thing happened on Sinai. The blacknes and dark of the cloud when the law was given. Jesus was the giver of a new law of grace, whereas Moses was for the judgement of death when he presented the law.
They believed in the coming of Jacob's trouble --tribulation in Moses time. They knew that before Yom kippor atonement day if not forgiven would be cleansed by Trib. period.
  4. Darkness on the Kingdom of Antichrist

If the sun and moon stand still over Israel in a permanent solar eclipse, where else is it dark?
  5. moon watch and feasts

In Israel the Jews have a important time each month watching for the moon. It is dark and as soon as the moon appears they sound the shofar. within the periods of the month there are the feasts which are mentioned in the O.T. I have heard that when the crescent moon is getting larger so as to be a full moon, they call it the open door to heaven. This may refer to the resurection.

One of the things that happens when there is a eclipse which is a rare one is that they are falling on a specific feast day. past blood moon eclipses happen 2 years after a major event. Luner for Israel and solar for the gentile world have been recorded so far.
  6. North America will stay dark for over a 1000 years!
  7. sky watching

Look up your redemption draws nigh. I think the look up is very significant. I have been often hearing about Orion constellation in light of the occult. So far it seems to be a important thing to the devil.

It is note worthy that Venus is also called the morning star that is a symbol for Jesus.

    another subject here--

Rev. 2:26-27 these two verses are misinterpreted by many. If they are read without throwing in any reference to known knowledge, that knowledge being Jesus will rule with a rod of iron, it will be seen that it is talking about a over comer and not Jesus. This is very significant.
  8. Since you notice the eclipses and blood moons I thought you would at least respond to the verses about the permanent solar eclipse. It is ok to tell me I am crazy after you read them. I know it is a new understanding.
  9. haven't seen a permanent eclipse

sorry but for a while had trouble getting on this forum,

I do see that there will be a temporary dark over the earth but not a permanent one. Curious as to why your asking. appreciate your interest though.
  10. 18 Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.
19 The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the Lord shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.
20 Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the Lord shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.
21 Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.
22 A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the Lord will hasten it in his time.
    —Isaiah 60:18–22 KJV
Please think about the sun and moon mentioned in verses nineteen and twenty. When people look into the heavens from Israel, there is still no light from the sun and moon even though they are in their heavenly positions. The permanent solar eclipse will start near the end of the tribulation period and last through the kingdom age for one thousand years. America will become an ice-covered land with no people.

    Good to have you back.
  11. Rev. 20:7-8

My understanding has been that v.7 Satan bound for a 1,000, then a 1,000 years of peace. One suggestion that makes insight into it all being dark is how then could the people come up to Jerusalem to offer sacrifice or God will not bless there land with rain. This would mean sun was blessing there land also rain wouldn't be enough. Also they would have unfair difficulty getting there without seeing the way.

Now after the 1,000 in v.8 we have Armeggedon. This appears to the judgement on all armies who come against Israel. Then we get into the setting up of the new, heavens, earth, Jerusalem. That is where there is no need of light in luminaries for God is the light 24/7. Actually in eternity there is no time. Hope I have been helpful--enjoy your fellowship by the way. Zech. 14:17-19. nations here as well.

When the permanent solar eclipse sets up over Israel, there is a shadow of about two hundred miles. The farther you get from Israel the more of the sun you can see. During the 1000 year kingdom age
The sun and moon will stay over Israel and Jesus will be the light over Israel Isaiah 60:19-21.KJV

In Revelation 12:7-14 Satan is defeated in a war in heaven. He is cast to the earth where he will hurt Israel the woman for a time, times and half a time or 3.5 years.
When the devil and the host of heaven are judged, they are cast to the earth to be in prison with men.about the time of the solar eclipse Isaiah 24:21-23.
  13. The Lord promises to with hold the rain on the nations that don't go up to worship, during the trib. period. The war and disasters of the trib. will cause it to be a cloud over the luminaries. In the eternal heavens Jesus is the light and won't need the luminaries anymore. The rain without the sun will mean no growth so sun light is necessary. It appears God will give rain just where he wants to.
