I thank you all for giving me your insight upon this topic. I thank Chad ,SpiritEd Led,Cody,Spirit1st all moderators and members for their knowledge. I brought this thread up because there is alot of controversy going on in the church. But I feel if we talk about it as one Christian to the other.
There will be less fighting over opinions. And more reading of the word. My belief has always steered toward the simple logic as Chad had wrote Like “As far as those who believe, yet have no genuine relationship with Christ, or no sincere final last cry..
And as Ncdataman said what I believe on a certain topic shouldn’t split us up. I’m sure what really matters is what the word of the Lord says. Not our opinion but what is indeed in the bible. For Satan plans in these days is to bring division into the church. And it seems a lot of believers are falling into this plan. When they don't agree with one anohter they just walk away . But does that solve anything? We must continue to show brotherly love and lean on the bible not our own understanding.
“Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and [that] there be no divisions among you; but [that] ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment”
The main point the basics that we all believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins. And through his blood we are saved.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 10:9 KJV
And if we go on strong in his word. We’ll never have to worry about OSAS.
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Eph 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints
Eph 6:19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
So to conclude this if we truly want to be saved. God has given us the tools to stay strong in our salvation.
God Bless All
