I've done a really "good" job of getting myself to a very desperate place financially. I've had times where I've been in despair, where I've condemned myself for my past choices and believed there was nothing worse I could do.

I'm not sure what's changed lately, maybe I'm listening to my Father more, or believing Him more fully, but He's given me a peace I haven't had before. I truly believe it's not that I'm denying I've gotten myself into a really rotten situation. I believe it's that He's given me a new outlook, a new perspective. Yes, I'm in dire straights financially, but the reality - HIS reality - is that I'm still just as loved, just as valuable, just as forgiven, just as redeemed as I was when Jesus died for ALL my sins. I think this is the first time in my life I've whole-heartedly believed Him when He says He loves me with an everlasting love.

Thank you, Abba!

Jn 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

1 Tim 6:6-16 "But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desures that plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. In the sight of God, who gives life to everything, and of Christ Jesus...I charge you to keep this command without spot or blameuntil the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, which God will bring about in his own time - God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen"

Peace,
-Crazy

Praise God Crazy, I am glad that you have come to the realization of our Heavenly Fathers unconditional love.

I made some choices at the beggining of this year that could have wound me up in prison and had my kids taken from me.

But God in his unconditional love reached out and down to me and showed me mercy .....I was able to get the help I needed and now nearly a year later I am a much stronger person in the Lord and my marriage is improving as well as my out look on life.

I almost can't wait until I can share my complete testimony with another hurting mom like I was.

I still have some healing to do but God is an awsome God and he's getting me through it step by step and day by day.

He is so awsome !

It IS awesome finally realizing His love! And it hasn't changed my situation, but somehow having an eternal perspective on it has made all the difference in MY outlook. I'll still be dealing with the consequences of my actions for a long time to come, but now I have hope.

There is a really touching scene in the play 'Madea Goes To Jail' where one of the inmates finally accepts that Jesus could love her ~ and begins to sing "Yes Jesus Loves Me" at first quietly, and then louder and louder as the revelation of His love dawns on her heart.

I truly believe it takes a revelation of Gods love to reach the place of real relationship with Him (or His love made perfect in us)...thats the change...and that one revelation changes everything!

GNB 1 Jn 4:17 Love is made perfect in us in order that we may have courage on the Judgment Day; and we will have it because our life in this world is the same as Christ's. (18)There is no fear in love; perfect love drives out all fear. So then, love has not been made perfect in anyone who is afraid, because fear has to do with punishment. (19)We love because God first loved us.

Thank you Jesus for peace, peace wonderful peace for my sister in the Lord.

Your sister in Christ, Trish
