Well it's me again. Me and a friend were talking about starting a Bible Study for teenagers (roughly ages 15-18). We were not sure however where to start, or how much to read each time. We do not want to overdue it, but we do want to read the Bible. So we think we need to find a happy medium .
I was thinking roughly 4-5 Chapters a week. I think I would encourage everyone to take notes, and highlight any of their favorite passages, or ones they didn't understand. I figure we would want to start pretty simple, (which I know is hard to do, sense the Bible is not "simple".). But I hope you guys know what I mean by "simple", easier to understand parts of The Bible.
I was hoping also not to start out with any "familiar stories". Like when Jesus turns water into wine. I want to make the first meeting something fresh and new, not a review.
Any ideas on where to start, how to do it, or just any comments are much appreciated.
