I met Jesus 2 years ago and I tahnk God for choosing me, and writing my name in the book of life. He had to take me to a very hard time to meet him, but with his love and his grace, I am here today serving him and only him.
I was in a marriage with the man that I had choosen with my own strength, a man who had all the qualities of a man of the world. The money, the looks, the life, everything a women of the world wants. That was me, married to the material, to the fancy cars, to the lifestyle. Never ever thought of God. God was very far away for me, because my life was money and materialism. I had the boat, the house on the ocean, the years model car, but nothing seemed to ever fill my heart, I was misreable, shopping to fill in the emptinees, the emptiness grew more and more until I began to drink like an animal. I began to drink and my life got out of control, i was married living a crazy life, I had all the money in the world, but the most empty life.
Until, I reached my own distruction, I loost it all my husband and the control of my life.
But..... there was a child of God my sister a daughter of Jesus, praying night and day for my salvation, for a new life for me, because she had seen it all. She prayed for 3 years, everyday without missing one day. She would tell God these words, God save my sister and if yo can please bring her here with me.
Well, God did just that. After my distruction, I had no place to go but to my sisters house, this is where God wanted me, my life was planed as he wanted it, he had me on a silver platter, my sister had anew house to offer me a room, she had a chrisitan group to introduce me into.
And I will never forget the day I went to the group, the pastor that day said these words, he said... in a marriage if there isnt forgiveness there isnt love.. this was conviciton to me, that I was in the right place and sent from God. The pastor did not know what was going on in my life, god put those words in his mouth for me that day. At the end of the meeting he gave the salvation prayer and I accept him in my life for once and for always.
Ever since then, my life has been a miracle. When the bible talks about miracles, people want to see mountains move and oceans part, but a miracle is what God did in my life. The way he created a new child.
