The large difference in the covenants!! The law was always about demand! Thou shalt not! There is no grace,nor salvation in the Law! Why stay under it?? To truly see the large difference in this please look at 2 kings1:12 Demand! Now look at Luke 9:53-56!! Supply! And what command to prayer was ever in the law? WHY? Because the law was always based upon self effort to achieve it. The law was like a mirror to the people,if you look into the mirror perhaps you noticed your hair needs a brush,your cheeks could use more color hehe. The mirror shows fault! The purpose of the law to start with!
To live by it you had to keep all 613 laws! Not just the Ten commandments! The mirror is to make us aware we all need a Savior,for without Jesus there is only demand, and no supply! Paul fought for years to get this point across to the people,by fully understanding the law himself,he knew what the Torah meant to the people! Yet many people still wish to live under the Ten Commandments demanding in there Churches the keeping of the law.Condemning others,passing judgement upon those, when they themselves are doing the very same thing!( rom 2:1-4)
The perfect law was written to a most imperfect people,there was no way they could ever keep the law of stone! hence Supply!! Jesus! Jesus through Paul showed many important points! 1.The law brings to us all the very knowledge of sin!( rom 3:20) 2. the law increased sin!!!( rom 5:20) 3. Those who believe in what Jesus has done are no longer under any part of the law!( rom 10:4) Our mindset is not about demand any longer!! It is all about being supplied!!( Philp 4:19!!) If we keep our mind on what Jesus has done, and will ever do for us,we stay supplied!( 2 peter 1:3-11!!)
For Jesus and Jesus alone is full of both grace!! and truth!!( john 1:14) There is no grace upon stone! Stone kills!( 2 cor 3:5-18!!) Stone produces demand to stay condemned,Holy Spirit removes this!!(Rom 8:1) All sin is forgiven! ALL!!! ( rom 8:4)But we have to believe this to be supplied! If we do not believe,we are in demand mode,and our prayers cannot be heard! Because self leads to demand, while Jesus always leads to supply! How do i know which mode i am in? By what comes out of your mouth! And by the actions one takes according to there belief!
You cannot be part of demand any longer! For if we are,then we are not, nor can ever be supplied! Because good brothers and sister we are not looking to become supplied!( proverbs 4:23Matt 12:34,Luke 6:45!) Some of you are ready to chew on meat,some are not,i do my best in the Lord to fill both needs.But make no mistake,we cannot stay babies all our life! Oddly enough in the love chapter itself,and loves nature himself is spoken these words!( 1 cor 13:11) then (1cor 14:20!) It is high time we all decide on staying supplied!
Can see teeth grinding,and the jaw working lol I know!! Mine did to! Do not think brothers and sisters we will not become accountable, for in fact,we already are!! Some just do not understand that yet.But make no mistake!! We all will! And our very life shows the result of our belief in God's Word! Do not look back to the shadows anymore brothers and sisters!!( heb 10:1) Step into the full supply of the light of Jesus himself! Who by his own hand made us!!( 1 cor 1:30-31!!) There is no hope in demand,for demand always considers lack,hope is in being supplied!!( rom 15:13)
For the Power of God comes upon all those who dare to stay supplied by our wonderful Jesus! Have you been hurt by another in life? have you been talked bad about?Are you tired of being always in demand? then become supplied by God's own Word,so that you have the ability through our Jesus to supply another who so needs it! It is time to supply saints,and it sure is time to become supplied, for the world is sure not getting more comfortable! Are we? The purpose for this writing! To remind those who do believe,and to have those who do not yet believe to strongly consider being supplied in our Jesus,rather then in themselves! May the wisdom Jesus has given all of us, take hold always upon us,just like his most wonderful blood shed has!( rom 13:11)
