Suicide: Pray for Family and Friends

At 2 a.m. on the 4th of July Marcus Neil committed suicide. He was 17 years old, in my grade. He was a great dancer at my school and on the football team and a Eagle Scout. He had everything that anyone would want. The reason is unknown. Please pray hard and intercede for Clinton High School. This is serious. This is the 4th suicide in the last two years. Please pray for his family and all the bereaved teenagers at my school. Thank You.

Father I pray that You will surround Marcus's family and give them comfort in this untimely death of their son and friend. I pray that they would feel Your comforting arms around them. If they do not know You I pray that they will hear that Jesus is the way the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father except through His Son. I pray that You would comfort the bereaved teens too in this traumatic time. In Jesus' name amen.

We have many suicidal cases in Malaysia recently as well. It can be seen everyday in newspaper... Some killed themselves for depression, some for unknown reason... I always wonder, how good if they known Jesus, and cried out to the living God?? Too sad to say, we didn't do a good job or act aggressively to spread the gospel, to save lifes...
Abba Father, pls forgive me for being lazy and uncommitted so-called Christians who is so selfish to care for myself only. God, pls give us strength to share the words, to give hope to desperate people, to bring new life to poeple. God, you love us all no matter who we are. We are your children. God, you strengthen us to bring hope to the hopeless, bring light to the darkness, bring sight to the blind, bring joy to the depressed... In Jesus' name we pray~ Amen!!

Amen! I prayed the same prayer about myself. Sometimes we get so comfortable and complacent. He was in my homeroom class last year. I wished I could have done something.............
