Sufficiency is of God

Hi, I was thining about this very humbling (not humiliating) verse and was wondering what you think.

2Co 3:5 - Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;


It's to me like that, our sufficiency is of God to be used as His instruments according to His will.

Which reminds me about grace because no one can boast because salvation is faith alone, like is our suffiency, from Him. We are vessels unto honour. (2Ti 2:21)

In my mind, you're right. We can do nothing our selves. If we're doing God's work, it is all God's grace and mercy that causes us to do it. It is all the work of the Holy Spirit, that causes us to work His will. That is why we pray in the Lord's prayer, Thy will be done.
