Please keep all the street and jail preachers in your prayers. Pray that God gives them the Holy Spirit to give them the message, keeps them safe and keeps them humble while witnessing. Sometimes I see street preachers preaching with pride and it seems that they're just running the lost away from Jesus instead of getting them to come to Him.

Also, keep me in your prayers. God Bless you all

Hehehe. You know something quickened in me when I read your post, since you have a burden for street preachers, why don't you become one? God can't think of anyone better to use than people such as yourself. I'm serious.

I've witnessed on the streets(one on one or to a group of people), handed out tracts and held signs up, but I haven't preached yet. I pray God will bless me with the ability to preach someday.

No matter where we preach either on the streets or in the villages or in huge stadiums, we're working for God. That is what is important. The place where we preach is irrelavant, but we should preach the Gospel and bring glory to God.

God bless you.

Pride we all have some don't we?:coocoo: Be patient with ministers who appear proud. Remember Jesus said you judge on the outward God looks on the heart. The Good ones will see their pride, as God will reveal it to them.

Steven looked pretty proud to his audience just before he was stoned to death. Don't confuse pride with the boldness of the Holy Ghost. Not saying that this was the case with the minister you are refering too, but it has been done. Will be praying brother.

God bless

*Sigh*, someday? You think you're gonna wake up one day with the ability to preach? Preaching is a learned skill, it requires you to step out in faith and trust God. There's no magic element bro. I'm probably one of the shyest people you could ever run into, but my church often has outreaches where we preach on a bullhorn/megaphone on a busy street corner. I'll tell you I was scared stiff the first time I stepped out. Don't fear, trust in the Lord.

Street preaching, and prison preaching can be thankless tasks.

I reacall David Wilkerson who left the safety of his pulpit to preach on the streets of New York. Late 1950s.
Having watched T.V. news and seeing the gangs of N.Y in the news, he was motivated by God to do something.

Thats is what we need! Compassion! In word or in deed burning love is my need

Lord Jesus we think of these men and women who preached the gospel, on the street and in the prison. Prosper them in Jesus. Grant them a productive ministry, bringing your Salvation in these places

In Jesus
