I'm at the point where reading is difficult...I've switched over now to an audio KJV bible...It sounds like I'm sitting listening to the teacher first hand as he talks, explaining, teaching, encouraging..... Its like I'm going through the bible for the first time. KGB! Kinda Good Boy!

I recently started listening to Bible podcasts in the morning. When I was young, I could just grab my Bible off the nightstand when I first woke up in the morning and start reading before I started my day. Now that I'm older, my eyes no longer function as well as they used to, so I listen to podcasts in the morning instead, and then read later in day once my eyes warm up a bit. But yeah, I think audio definitely has a place and can be effective.

Faith cometh by hearing and hearing and hearing the Word.. :D

Alexander Scourby reading the KJV - simply the best Bible narration of all time.
Have him on tape cassettes, CD and MP3 discs.
Good to go to sleep to.
For me, sleeping seems such a waste of time...In truth with this 'dis-ease' I'm fighting, I sleep about one night out of four. The rest of the time I'm either looking for cracks in the ceiling or dozing and thinking....I have not found a way to play the Word all night. I have to keep waking up to set the next section or book....Any suggestions?

Any suggestions?
I have Scourby reading the KJV on CD discs and I have a CD/radio player on my bedside table.
The discs are in a disc holder and if I need to put in a new disc then I can swap them over.
Or I can push the replay button.

PRAZOR - Christian Music Streaming
I believe that Prazor has a Bible reading channel that is continuous 24/7
so if you can Bluetooth to bedside speakers you should be able to listen to Bible reading all night long and more.

Sounds good I use mp3 on my phone with bluetooth....but I can't get it to do more than about twenty minutes without resetting. I'll look at Prazor

I use an app called youversion on my phone
Has video pics about 25 versions of the Bible including audiobook and scripture of the day with video testimonies also has study plans and it’s free
I use it on the go and working out or with Bluetooth

There is an online site with good devotional messages, "NightSounds" with speaker Bill Pearce that will help you rest. He departed from this world about ten years ago, bu had his radio program for about 40 years and was associated with the Moody Bible Institute. Good messages with a soft voice that will help you sleep and grow in the Lord.

May God bless,........

John 5:39 (NKJV) You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me.

John 5:40-42 (NKJV) But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.
I do not receive honor from men.
But I know you, that you do not have the love of God in you.
So, you're using scripture to make accusations against people you don't even know? Hmmm That's honest, Loving, Really Christian....and I'm using sarcasm...

who am I
2 Corinthians 5:17-20 (NKJV) Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
2 Corinthians 5: 20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God.

Gal 1:11-17 But I certify you, brethren, which the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
For I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.

Luke 10:16-18 (NKJV) He who hears you hears Me, he who rejects you rejects Me, and he who rejects Me rejects Him who sent Me."
Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name." And He said to them, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.
Luke 10:16 (NLT2) Then he said to the disciples, “Anyone who accepts your message is also accepting me. And anyone who rejects you is rejecting me. And anyone who rejects me is rejecting God, who sent me.”

2 Corinthians 5: 20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God.

Matthew 16:19-20 (NKJV) And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."
Then He commanded His disciples that they should tell no one that He was Jesus the Christ.

Revelation 3:8 (NKJV) I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.

2 Corinthians 5:17-20 (NKJV) Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Matthew 18:18-20 (NKJV) Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you lose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.
For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them."
