Luke 5:26 Everyone was amazed and gave praise to God. They were filled with awe and said," We have seen remarkable things today."
Lord, I confess I have been thinking about how unremarkable my life is. I wake up, I go to work, I try to be a good friend and loving member of my family, but n thing extraordinary takes place. It is just me, moving through the daily necessities.
Lord, forgive me...I have forgotten how remarkable it is to breathe in and out, to be alive. Somehow I have ignored the privilege of true joy. And how many times have i been amazed by Your compassionate covering of my hurts? Each day that i move deeper into the future You have planned for me is amiracle of renewal. Praise You, Lord, for You are doing remarkable things in my life today. Sometimes I just need to be reminded.
Remember my brothers and sisters you are a remarkable miracle made by Our Lord Jesus Christ. Nothing about you is merely ordinary but you are all very extraoridinary and special! God loves you all and remember you are all heirs to the throne of God...His Sons and Daughters! God bless you more richly and abundantly than you have ever known before!

footnote* the devotion I shared with you comes from the book One-Minute Prayers For Women. Although I think it can apply to men as well too. The bible verse comes from the King James Bible.
