I am new to the "TalkJesus" community and I have been looking for something like this for quite some time. I hope this turns out to be the place for me. I do not like to waste my time with idle activity. I only like to focus on what matters and have made a committment to the Lord to spend my time engaging in activities that count. I would like to submit a prayer request for my husband who is out on the streets (homeless) due to his choices. He has been prioritizing his drug addiction ever since our daughter, who is now 8 months old, has been born. He has been abusive, both physically, mentally, and emotionally, towards me countless number of times and has stolen from me to support his addiction. He has never supported the family the way the head of the household should and has left me so many times to fulfill his cravings for the drugs that he chooses and has said that he is never coming back home again. He has abandoned us numerous times and on several occassions has lived with other women so that he had a shelter over his head. I also received text messages from a man who said he was involved intimately with my husband in exchange for drugs. I just hope that he would come to his knees and look to the heavens and find the Lord and realize that the Lord can meet all of his needs, fulfill all of his cravings, and comfort him in all his hurts that he is trying to escape. I pray that he would have the necessities...food to eat, clothing on his back and a roof over his head and that he would be safe. He just recently (a week ago) busted through the glass window of my daughter's bedroom and was "high" on some kind of stimulant, perhaps "meth" and began to suspiciously search from room to room repeating the phrase "where is he?" I have filed a restraining order against him and am proceeding with filing for a divorce. I am worried that because of the actions that I am taking that he will make a poor decision in response and that he may harm himself. I do not want something bad to happen to him, so I just want prayers to go his way the that Good Lord will look after his best interest and keep him safe and out of harms way. This I ask, in Jesus name, Amen.
