There was a woman of 35 whom Jesus saved in her teens. The Lord was her best friend and was always with her. He proved to be her heart healer, her support system, her everything.
One day, the lady said "Dear God, you have proved to be my best friend all these many years. You have done so much for me I cannot count all the things. You have always protected me, supported me, loved me. Even when you showed me my wrongdoings you showed me with so much love that I never felt bad or condemned. You comforted me so many time. You provided all my needs. This many years I have been under your wing and yet, I have done so much wrongdoing. I have turned my back on you more time than I care to remember, and been selfish and did things that I wanted to do. I have so many faults and sins. When I die I cannot stand before you."
And at that very thought, the woman began to weep uncontrollably, remorseful, and hopeless that she could ever stand before the Holy God on judgement day. And through the tears... she saw a picture in her mind. It went like this....
She saw herself kneeling before an awesome throne, head bowed low. At her right side was Jesus standing facing the throne. He had his hand on her shoulder and love in his eyes. He spoke to his Father and said "She is with "me" Father. And peace like a dove descended upon the woman and her bitter tears turned to tears of gratitude and joy for Jesus.
Jesus, Jesus, how I trust thee. How I've proved thee over and over. Jesus Jesus precious Jesus, oh for grace to trust you more.
