Thankyou all so so much for your encouragement from the last sharing your faith post I made, but now I think Im ready to actually do something about it - before its to late

Im going to go with the Do what Jesus did scheme so to speak. But now I just need a little more help if you wouldnt mind.

It says to start off in the natural then move into the spiritual, but what can I actually say?? Where do I start? This is so hard for me.

The person for the four (older brother, uncle, and two best friends) that I see the most apart from my brother, is called Harry, he lives a few roads away from me. Ive seen the way harry looks at my bible when I leave it in the open, most of the times on purpose. I can tell that he thinks Im weird or something when my church comes into the conversation, or the fact that Ive been out with my church or done something with them. Its the kind of way you look at somebody and just think... "What ....ARE you doing? You fool" . Thats what I get from him when I see his reactions to something similar to those just listed. All he thinks about is women aswell (may I say hes good at dreaming, but not to good at doing, if you know what Im talking about ). Hes planning on buying a BMW for his first car, a second hand one up the road - because to him it will be a [edited by teraside: removed offensive language]

How can little old me change the way his mind thinks?? He has no interest in God, or church or salvation. He once asked me 'are you one of those people that want to save your soul then?'. That to me says that hes aware of salvation, but he just doesnt want to do anything about it. When we were talking about money(I told you about his goal in part 1) I told him that much money wouldnt get him anywhere, he replied 'yeah not later on, but in this life it'll make it great' - again to me that says he knows that it wont get him into heaven, but he wants the money anyway. Sometimes I wish he would just get a peice of the action in hell itself, if only for a day, just to waken him and let him know what hes heading for, forever.

Please help me, pray for me please! Pray that God almighty would give me the things to say when I need to say them the most, pray that God would work a miracle in his four childrens minds. I need help help help, pleaseeeee.
Thanks again, God bless,

By start out in the Natural we mean that you start by asking the person if they believe they are a good person? Most will answer yes to this question.

Then ask them if they have heard of the 10 commandments? Some may not have so you get to tell them about the commandments and that God will judge us when we die according to how we lived and followed His commandments.

Ask them if they ever told a lie? Most will say yes

Ask them if they ever lusted or had sinful desires toward a beautiful woman or a handsome man? Most honest people will say yes

Then ask them if they ever stole anything? Again most will say yes

Now you can say "Well then you will stand before God as a lying, lustful, thief and will not be granted entrance into heaven."

"But, God sent Jesus to die for us and pay the penalties for our sins if we will accept Him as our Lord and Saviour and repent and turn away from our sinful life. Would you like to be saved from the penalty of your sins?"

If he/she says yes, then you can tell them about Jesus and salvation (Spiritual things) and perhaps lead them in the "sinners prayer."

If you do lead them in the sinners prayer, encourage them to start reading the bible to find out more about God and His plan for their life and begin attending a bible believing and teaching church.

If he/she says no, then encourage them to think about what you have said and give them a phone # to contact you if they should change their mind.

I hope this explains the particulars enough to get you started. If you want to see this demonstrated, watch Kirk Cameron's program on TBN. He and his friend use this very technique, the same technique Jesus used with the Samaritan woman, in their street ministry in Los Angeles.

Remember! It is not we who do this but the Holy Spirit working through us! Pray before you approach anyone so that the Holy Spirit will lead you to say what is correct for that person.

Feel free to contact me directly if you have further questions.

God Bless you
