You welcome those who gladly do good, who follow godly ways. But you have been very angry with us, for we are not godly. We are constant sinners; how can people like us be saved? Isaiah 64:5 NLT

A man named Dustin knew how it felt to be a constant sinner. He grew up in a household that liked to party, and he says it was easy to find substances to abuse. That led to time alone with girls, which led to a pregnancy when he was just fifteen years old, and an abortion. Both he and his girlfriend were heartbroken afterward.

“We couldn’t bear to talk about it,” he told Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN). “And it plunged us into this spiral of drug addiction that was just awful and that ultimately took my girlfriend’s life.”

Dustin ended up in jail on the suicide floor. That’s when he remembered something his grandmother used to tell him? God is present. Jesus is the Savior, and He is who Dustin needed. Dustin cried out to Jesus and his heart was changed. As of the taping of the CBN interview, he was working for a pro-life medical sharing ministry.

Your story might not be as dramatic as Dustin’s. But you still know how it feels to battle with constant sin. Share your testimony. One day, someone might remember what you said and call on the Savior.

Prayer: Lord, embolden me to tell others about how You changed my life.
