Anyone have any thoughts about this date? Anybody sensing in their heart something is about to happen except for just another day?

I've seen some of the apocalypse predictions, and heard that the Pope is meeting with Pres Obama on that date.
But I've seen those predictions for many other dates as well. Seeing as how "no man knoweth the hour".
I am just chalking them up as "prediction # 2,451

I have never been the kind of person who looks towards dates for the rapture of the Church, or any other predictions, but this is different to me. I do not know what it is, but something is going to happen somewhere around that date.

We might not know the day, or the hour, but that day shall not over take us as a thief in the night, because we are not the children of darkness or of the night, but the children of light, and of the day.( 1 Th 5:4-5 ) Surprises will happen to those children who are in darkness.

Spend your days honoring GOD and serving Him. Better than guessing what will happen in the future when Christ instructs us not to worry about it (aside the warnings of end times He gave us).

While I do agree with you brother Chad, but did not Jesus tells us to "watch" and pray that we may escape those things?

Luke 21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
Luke 21:35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Hi @Curtis

Yes you're right, but keep in mind we should always be watchful and prayerful. We're in a spiritual warfare, daily since the beginning of time to the end.

My point is not to speculate what we cannot speculate. A lot of times it's rooted in superstition and/or fear. While I do believe we're speeding towards His return, I don't think it's our duty to guess what will happen in the future. The bible gave us enough to go by.

The 23rd of this month is Yom Kippur, the Day of atonement.
