It is more important then ever that we seek Gods will in our lives. Encourage others as you seek his will through the daily prayer and reading of Gods word. Nothing is more important to God then our prayer life. It is through prayer that God communicates with us on the uses of our armor and the sword of his word.
Psalm 50:15, “And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.”
It is a wonderful assurance that God gives us repeatedly in his word, that he hears and answers our prayers. Our prayer closets are “war rooms”. In them, God describes the plan for battle to us. Our prayer time is time spent in receiving instruction and tactics from God about his battle plan and our unique part in that plan. In The Weapon of Prayer, E. M. Bounds writes, “Failure to pray is failure in all of life. It is failure of duty, service and spiritual progress. It is only by prayer that God can help people.” We can rest in the fact that God hears us and desires to answer us. We need to remember that the power of prayer is not in how much we pray but in how our prayers are in accord with the will of God. Be thankful that God has written his will down for us in the Bible. Continue to hide God’s word in your heart as you read and pray daily.
