May I suggest Matt 13:1-23 about comparing the Word to seeds.
1Pe 1:23 for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God.
This isn't really talking about the "Bible" so much, but rather the first time a person is born, they are born of the seed of their parents, which creates a physical body that will die.
When we are born, it also creates a spiritual soul. This part of you does not die. If we put this into context, it is saying if we are a Christian, we will live forever (imperishable).
The Word of God has a double meaning in this verse - It is what tells us how to live. If we obey it - then we will live forever,
but also the Word of God is what creates life, (both physical and spiritual) and by the Word of God everything was spoken into existence. None of us would be alive (even illegitimate "accidents") unless God ordained it. He has a purpose for everyone, there are no accidents.
Act 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
