Searching

[Who am I]

I was searching within, I was searching without
I was searching to find what life's all about
I knew there had to be a place for me
Where it was I could not see

Year after year as time went by
All I could do was sit down and cry
Why oh why am I still here
Why oh why am I still alive

Why is this world so cruel
Why do people act like they do
Could it be they are searching like me
To find there place and their reason to be

I hear a soft voice calling for me
But where it comes from I do not know
Who could it be that's calling for me
Could it be someone who want's to love me

People tell me that God loves me
That he gave his son to die for me
How could this be I did not know
Why would Jesus give his life for me

I went to church to see for myself
What this Jesus was all about
I cried and I cried I did not know why
What is this love I feel inside

Then the preacher stepped down in front of us all
And said my dear friends Jesus paid for It all
If you want to live forever with Him
Just open your heart and let Him in

I walked up front as tears fell from my eyes
I told Jesus I don't want to die
I gave Him my heart and promised to be
A servent for Jesus our Lord and King

Now I found my place in life
I found out what life was about
Jesus gave His life for me
Now I have the victory

AMEN

I want to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for giving me these words to write down.
I pray dear Lord that you use these words to bless others just as it blesses me In Jesus name Amen

I'm feeling lost and confused on who I am,too.

I feel sth worked in my Heart,but still be emotional numb.
"Jesus paid for it all",I want to think about it and feel His love now~
sometimes I was blocked for approaching such truth from God,too many lies and maybe strongholds in me prevent me to "allow God bless me"(from a sister prayed for me,indeed I cry for help and close my heart for keep good things out,but let bad things in.)
