Don't be like them, for your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him! Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. Matthew 6:8-9 NLT

When you get ready to read or say the Lord’s Prayer, what’s most often on your mind?

Is it God the Father’s role in your life—in eternal past? In your conception, birth, and life so far? In your destiny and certainty of living with Him forever?

Is it God the Father’s infinite and eternal qualities—His so sovereignty (greatness), providence (guidance and goodness), holiness (glory), love (graciousness), and mystery (“God alone knows”)?

Is it God the Father’s marvelous and amazing grace, mercy, care, compassion, love, joy, and peace as He relates to you?

Is it God the Father’s deep and passionate love for you, His child?

Don’t miss what He’s saying to you right now: “I love you! I’m crazy about you! Open your heart wider and experience My love anew”.

Prayer: Lord, transform me. Renew how I think and feel and respond toward You when I pray, when I read Bible verses, when I read each day’s devotional. Help me know that You love me!
