Saved but how to save others???

I was saved when I was 15 or something. It was actually 2 years ago. Hey you guys, I want lots of gifts, birth day is tomorrow, I will be 17:thumbs_up
Anyway, before I knew Jesus for my self, I was trying so hard to gain the meaning of life. My life was pretty messed up(family thing) and I just kept asking my self- who am I and what am I doing here? I felt so insignificant and I felt like I was nothing. I actually felt like a mistake. I kept asking my sister(who is a christian) the meaning of life and she told me life is GOD. And I was like- hello? I asked her what life is, not her "religious" view and it actually was not an answer for me then. Then amazingly, I saw the passion and it was like a turning point in my life. Yeah, that's it! that is my life right there on the cross and when I turned the 1st page of the bible, it says I made them in my LIKENESS and there I was, made in his likeness. SO that's who I am? And my purpose? on the cross and you have no idea how happy I am that I havenot wasted my life and that I have got to be in God's grace when I am young! I don't want to live a purposeless life.
Ok, this thread was not supposed to be a testimonial. Here is my question, I don't know what to say to people to make them see this great God. I just feel like they will turn me down as I did my sister. And they seem so happy with out him. I mean what can I say? They want to "live" not worry about things...
And it is so much easier to tell a non-christian about God. I don't know what to tell a christian who has gone astray. I have freinds who "by family" are christians but are too bored to be one and I don't know what to say to them. What ever i may say, they already know it... They want to try out the world and it seems to make them happy. But as each day passes I feel like I am depriving them of their lives by not telling them about God. The life that God has offered me and they could get too if they would listen. But they don't.. they don't listen and I don't try as hard either. Not even close to hard

Well interesting Questions you pose I must say. So how to reach people who seem to not want Him is what I understand from your question right?
God has offered us Eternal life with Him, it is a gift but it is up to us to take it and that is by believing on Christ, that He is the Son of God. How we live our lives everyday will reflect in our behaviour and people are drawn to that, it is Christ within us that people see and want. Our lives are a testament to others. It is not so much in the words we say but in the actions, how we live our lives, will bring people to realize that their lives are truly empty. You say they have it all together and are "happy without Him" but that is what they are projecting to you and to others but in essence it does not mean it is true.
We only see the outside of a person, we don't see the internal struggles, the heartaches, etc...just live your life as Christ would have you, be loving, kind, honest, trustworthy, find fulfillment in the Scriptures and be ready in season and out of season with a reason why you are content with your life. It may not happen today or tomorrow but your actions should never waiver, keep focused on Serving Him by Serving others.
God bless you.

Happy 17th Birthday Jesus's always...silver and gold have I none but such as I have...:)

Jesus only asks us to introduce others to Him...the courtship is His work :)
When we are truly in love with someone...its nigh impossible for others not to notice...so let the light of your love for Him SHINE! :)

Jesus's Always;

I love the excitement that radiates from your post. You are on fire!

As to your question about what to say to non-believers or nominal believers, read John 15:18-27 in which Jesus talks to the disciples about what they can expect to encounter in the world.

Don't worry about or try to rehearse what you will say. The Holy Spirit will supply the words. Also, remember Francis of Assisi's famous slogan, "Preach the Gospel. Use words when necessary."
