Rome on all Continents

Greetings,

recently heard that every continent has a city of Rome.
Can anyone back this up or is it nonsense?

I would guess its an allegory to one of two things.
1. Every continent (other than Antarctica) has a central spot of religious authority, be it good or bad.
2. Every continent (same as above) has a harlot city that has grown strong due to immorality and financial strength.

Except probably for Antarctica since I don't know of any year round inhabitants at that location I would have to say the answer is yes. Found them, but didn't want to list them and spoil the fun for others in trying to find out!

I've been in Rome four times....Each time I was in a different state.
And once I was in Rhome. But that was Texas
